    As many others have already explained, this refrigerator is junk. Bought it 2 1/2 years ago and the cooling unit suddenly stopped working. LG‘s customer service was an absolute complete waste of a few hours. Thankfully we had a protection plan through Best Buy but even dealing with the third-party vendor they subcontracted us out to was not pleasant. The short version of that experience is that it ended up taking over one month for the fridge to be completely fixed and that was after the technician replaced the compressor only to then figure out that it was the main control panel unit so we had to wait for that to be fixed as well. Who knows how long it will work now. When it does stop working again we will be going with a different brand.

    Lots of problems with the water filter

    Had never purchased an LG or a refrigerator this expensive. When I attempted to change the water filter the first time, it was broken and I could not put a new filter in. Because it was only 7 months old I had to go to LG to fix it. It took nearly 2 months to get it fixed and we had to buy bottled water. I probably would not buy LG again. We previously had GE brand and had great luck with those.

    Had a small dent in upper right hand corner. Customer service offered $100 gift card. Still haven’t received. Not happy.

    I am not a fan of LG products. Not good quality. I am a previous LG owner and every product had a product.

    I had asked agent for a larger Refrigerator than my measurements and did not get what I asked for~ to small~!

    There was a couple of dents in it after getting it home. And there was a broken piece on the door inside the freezer. Too much hassle to return to the store since ordered online. Drove 2 hours to pick up. Need to call about the broken door/piece

    Refrigerator is OK but was not happy with the sale

    The refrigerator is OK but we were not happy with the sales person. The sales person told us the the refrigerator had 2 ice makers, one in the door and one in the freezer section. We were looking at a Samsung model that cost less and had the same features but we went with the LG because we have a large family and thought the extra ice maker would be great. Now we are buying bags of ice because the ice maker on the door does not make enough ice for 3 glasses. I would give the refrigerator a higher rating if it was what we were expecting. I might recommend the fridge to someone with a small family just not to buy it from Best Buy. ( its cheaper at other places any way) I have been buying all my major appliances at Best Buy for over 20 years because of the service but I will never buy another one there again. I would suggest someone to go to Home Depot or Lowes to buy appliances, at least there the sales people know about what they are selling.

    Like so many others, mine failed at 24 months

    The fridge was nice while it worked, but that only lasted about 2 years. Getting it fixed has been a huge pain: it's been impossible to get service scheduled (I'm still trying, have to call again on Monday).

    Since receiving delivery of Fridge in mid October 2020, we have been experiencing foul taste when using water line and ice maker. A tech was sent out by LG, but to this date 1/18/2021, the issue can not be resolved. All instructions have been followed. Another tech being dispatched this week to revisit issue.

    roomy fridge but it makes a lot of noise. Repair tech says "it's normal compressor sound" but it is occasionally loud and sound like a didgeridoo in the background Will call about some solution. Wish I knew before I bought it.

    My ice/water dispenser periodically decides it needs a 5 second delay before dispensing. After 4 service calls LG says due to the alignment of water solenoids, this is a “normal” function and no further service calls would be made. They suggested I pull the refrigerator out every time this happens, unplug it and wait 5 minutes before plugging back in to reset the valve alignments.

    Only been a month, but it’s already not working

    It's been a little over a month since I bought it, but all the ice cream is getting soft. Ice cream continues to be soft even if the freezer temperature is lowered. Technician came after calling Best Buy, but he said there was nothing he could do. What's the point of buying the Total tech if they can't fix it. When I called LG, LG said that there is no one who can come from LG company, but they will contact the place connected to the company and send someone to fix it. Everything is so uncomfortable and I regret buying this refrigerator.
