    we've only had it for 2 months, but so far the family loves it. it has a huge capacity; we can't fill it, and we're a hungry family of 4. it's quiet - much quieter than the old GE we replaced. I also like the user interface and digital display showing the temperature settings. I used a thermometer to confirm, and I do find that the actual temps are lower than the settings. Better than being higher. The absolute BEST feature is the open-door chime. My kids always managed to forget to completely close the freezer or fridge door on the old one and leave it that way overnight. Never again! My only concern is the longevity of the compressor; I've read these linear models, although quiet, tend to break down early and often. But I can't take away a star for NOT failing yet. I'll update my review if it does. So far, we're all quite happy with this fridge.

    the inside is very spacious and nice but the ice maker never worked properly for a prolonged amount of time always some issue with leaking from the filter or not producing ice, IN ADDITION ALL SIDE DOOR BINS CRACKED!

    I have not been very happy with this product. Twice had to call for a repair within the first year. Would not recommend.

    Owned this refridgerator for right at 5 years and the compressor has gone out. Have spent over a month without a fridge while LG tries to figure out what to do.

    Replaced water valve earlier this year. Now have a water leak in the door and will have to replace the whole door.

    Worst purchase of my life.

    This might be the worst major appliance I've ever bought in my life. Within 7 months of using it, It has broken TWICE. Both time the fault was the condenser under the fridge, what’s worse was the customer service at LG. It took them 2 weeks to schedule a technician to my house which caused my frozen food to gone bad and I had to threw them all away. Within a month after fixing it, it broke again just yesterday, it’s Saturday today so I couldn’t contact them. I’ve never regretted so hard about this purchase, please stay away from anything related to LG.

    Salesman and Delivery A+. Fridge has 3 little dents on front. Called Bestbuy and transferred to LG. Still haven’t heard back from LG.

    not reliable. fridge froze and had to let it defrost for 5 days to defrost. service tech said he could not fridge apart to defrost. LG service horrible

    We just bought this fridge and I was so hopeful for the reviews! However it’s day 5 and the ice maker is already leaking all over the floor. It was working perfectly the last 4 days so not sure what happened, but we are returning because if it has problems on day 4 not sure I want to gamble on it long term!

    The refrigerator is nice. However, it took 3 times to get one that was not damaged. When fridge #2 showed up, it didn’t work and the delivery guy just left. We were without a working refrigerator for 5 days. Lost all of our food, had to take a day off work for the second to be delivered only to be broken. No one from Best Buy or Geek Squad would get back to us. I contacted through Facebook, Twitter, email and numerous calls. Shay who delivered #1 and 3 was the only redeeming thing about our experience. She was fantastic

    Great refrigerator. Poor service.

    The refrigerator has been exactly what I hoped it would be. It’s a little annoying to have to hit the ice or water buttons twice to switch (once to turn on display, once to switch) but otherwise a good product. However, it was spoiled by the awful delivery problems we rant in to. They called us and said we were next so we emptied the old fridge and removed it. Then their truck broke down and I never got a call to reschedule. When I called 3 hours later they said the first available time was 6 days later.

    LG Refrigerator and Best Buy Service FAILURE

    Freezer couldn't maintain temperature in less than 12 mo. Soft ice cream, thawing meat, etc. Home Depot did not have an LG repairman within 50 miles for Total Tech Plan. So asked me to call LG directly. No luck. Called local repairmen and they explained LG different and too difficult. Basically recommended to not buy an LG. Best Buy Total Tech plan?

    I have had 4 service calls for the same problem in the first 11 months I have owned this refrigerator. There is an intermittent 3-5 second delay when dispensing ice/ water. Now after 11 months and 4 service calls LG has decided this intermittent delay is normal and will not do anything for me. Very poor customer service.

    RUN AWAY!!! Three service calls in 4 months for an ice maker that won't work. Currently waiting on parts. If they don't arrive in the next week, L.G. promises to issue a return for the unit. Save yourself the headache. Masochists must love this unit.

    LG are Bad choices

    This is our 2nd time swapping out this fridge, and this one is worst than 1st one. Temperature inside fridge is rarely above 40degrees. Filtered Water is contaminated, so ice & water dispenser is pointless. Really poor customer service responses, and the delivery companies are even worse. So disappointed in the entire purchase.

    Although the staff at Best Buy was amazing, the product and the customer service team through LG was not. My refrigerator stopped working after having it for 8 months and then took the LG sales people 6 additional weeks to do absolutely nothing to help repair or replace my fridge. It was only through the heroics of Lynette at the Riverdale store and Thomas in appliance repair that we were able to accomplish anything!

    We had three refrigerators delivered before we got a good one. First one froze our food, that we had to throw away, second one was dented finally we got a good one.
