    I would not recommend this refrigerator. LG produced many with bad compressors and was forced to extend their warranty after getting sued in a class action. If you want it repaired, be ready to wait weeks or months.

    Broken in 2 years.

    I bought this a little over two years ago and have had nothing but problems. The door malfunctioned early on and we have to manually adjust the door to close it. The ice takes forever to make and we are constantly running out. The kicker is the fan broke 2 years in and they are charging us over $680 to fix it. Cheaply made and terrible customer service.

    Compressor died 4 weeks after warranty expired. All the lights remained on so we had no clue. Lost all food.

    LG is a horrible brand and this product is proof

    We’ve had so much trouble with this LG fridge/freezer. Had multiple fixes under warranty and the problems continued. LG even failed to provide a technician on my most recent call (still under the 20 year LG warranty).

    Horrible noise

    Fridge is 17 months old and the freezer fan went. $400 to repair. And very annoyed that we paid much more for it in 2022!! Don’t waste your money on this LG fridge!

    Don't buy LG. Best Buy STOP selling LG

    The ice maker stopped working after a year. Then the water dispenser stopped working. Now the freezer is not working. The LG customer service is terrible to work with. We have been without a freezer for a month now. Best Buy should stop selling LG.

    Last LG product we will ever buy!

    My husband and I bought this model at Best Buy Jan. 2021. It is August 2022 and it is dying due to major defect. Trying to get LG to make it right has been difficult and food is going bad!

    Unhappy with service

    The refrigerator was good from February till July 2 when I it started throwing out defrost codes. Since it had LG warranty have been dealing with LG. It was July 30 before repairman came and put In a sensor, and the next day it did it again. I have had a bad refrigerator for 42 days and seem to be getting nowhere. Best Buy won’t hwlp since my 15 days to return are passed. STAY AWAY

    door flap flaw

    The door flap sometimes does not flip to get a seal when shutting the door. I have to reopen door and flip the door flap to get it to work properly. Looked at other similar refrigerators, they don't have this problem. Contacted LG support. They said they would send someone out but didn't tell me I would be charged. Fail.

    Died after only 2 years in service. Had to replace condenser motor, which was $1,500 Technician said that it is common problem for LG.

    Very disappointed with LG and the deterioration of their quality. It leaked cold air the day we bought it, terrible ice maker. Poor customer service. Refuse to fix it even though it is under warranty.
