Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.While this Monitor has potential, it fails in the fact that on the lower left hand side of the screen you have White bleed from the backlighting. it looks like someone is shining a bright white light in the corner of the which is not acceptable and makes for viewing videos annoying and any dark or black colors are interrupted I am not sure why this happens. I am trying to return it to BB.

Bad color

Changing settings to emulate rtings did not fix it and resetting to factory defaults did not help either. Played around with settings for a long time and got it to a usable state but have never had a monitor that needed this much work to make it look decent.

terrible quality

Text looks spidery and grays wash out to white. Can't use Excel or read Google maps on this monitor - you literally can't see the gray lines in Excel or see the difference between roads and gray background in Google maps. I have to move those windows over to my laptop to see them.

Low resolution, not recommended

LG 27" monitor with terrible resolution.

Took it immediately back to Best Buy for a refund.

LG monitor defective out of the box

Tried it on another computer with the same results. I returned the item.

Posted .This can be resolved simply by changing your picture settings. Open your monitor menu > select Picture > try out various Picture Modes or go to Picture Adjust to manually change your settings until you achieve the desired result. ^Jennifer
