Dual head 4K may seem overkill but our new office PCs have 4K video and we create and consume a lot of high end video. These are are perfect and when BB runs a sale, they are even better.

However, 1:1 4k resolution is almost impossible to see at 27" screen, too small. Biggest annoyance is user interface, the beeper from hell, which I do not know how to turn off, probably will open the monitor and disconnect it. Every mode change this monitor announce with beeping sounds, and since it doe snot have a speaker and volume to turn it down, this thing beeps like you disconnect a person from the life saving machine beep beep beep beeeeeeeep every time you turn the computer off, imagine that in the night or other quiet environment, stupid design, there has to a way to turn it off?

For a budget 4K monitor, it delivers the crisp and clear text that I grew accustomed to on my previous Mac. There are NO speakers, so I just hooked up a pair of external ones that I already owned to my PC. I took off one star for the plastic stand, which has a large footprint and for the instruction manual, which fails to explain how the power button toggles to control the settings, i.e. input, etc... It took me a while to figure that out when all I saw was a black screen after turning on my pc.

The 4K resolution of the IPS panel is very sharp and vivid. For the price, this monitor is workhorse in the office. For gaming, there are better choices. But this monitor doesn't sell itself as a gaming monitor. But if you look at email and spreadsheets all day, then this monitor is for you! It also has a very clean white look on the back. It's quite minimalistic and stylish. It also includes display cables.
