Got a line of dead pixels going across the whole screen within a week and a half of use.

I was trying to remember how much this cost because I'm thinking of buying another one and then I realized that I've owned this for 3 years now. It works extremely well and is compatible with every computer - at least 2 different Windows computers and 3 different Mac - that I've paired it with, using either the Thunderbolt connection or HDMI connection. The screen is large, crisp and clear l and the stand is great - stable and visually pleasing. The only mild issue I have had is that the bottom curved piece is somewhat bulky so depending on my workspace it sticks out more/takes up more room on the desk than I would prefer. It is also shockingly durable - I've moved it to 4 different locations (carefully packed of course, but still) and it hasn't been damaged at all. Overall, one of the better purchases I've made in the last 3 years. Would buy it again in a heartbeat.

This is one of the best monitors that I have owned. A lot of people will complain that this is not a gaming monitor since it only has a 60hz refresh rate and they are wanting a higher refresh rate like 144hz or 240hz, but I have not had any issues with screen tearing or lag when playing Pub-G or other high graphic intense games. It comes with a HDR effect that basically makes any content into high quality video. The monitor is also compliant with HDCP 2.2 copy protection which affects all 4k streaming services. The stand tilts, pivots 90 degrees and has height adjustments. This monitor Vesa mount holes and has a headphone jack on the back. Lg has also included on screen controls for gaming and for monitor controls, which is a great feature to change between your gaming and work settings. The 4k with IPS is great for getting the closest true color match to pictures or videos. And watching movies on this monitor is a great experience. This monitor is great for work, gaming or relaxing with a movie. It’s really the best of all worlds. The monitor is also compliant with HDCP 2.2 copy protection which affects all 4k streaming services.

This monitor has a very sharp and clear picture for my various uses. My photo edits look very true to color and tone and very close to my laptop's Pantone certified display. It has really good viewing angles and can be seen from nearly any angle. The colors can be set to "pop" for sports viewing or gaming. I like the white colorway and how it stands out from the other gaming monitors. The resolution is great once you set your laptop's external display settings to "expand". The "mirror" setting yielded much less desirable results as it inherits you computers current display resolution. The monitor has display cable as well as HDMI inputs and comes with the HDMI and display port cables which is a very nice addition in a world of cutting corners to save the bottom line. I can see myself using this to display watch some movies and remote desktop work. I did not like that the display does not rotate but then again, it does not need to with the viewing angles it has. In future hardware updates, I would love to see the ability to raise the display as I like to nest my laptop with it's screen open under my monitors.

Great LCD’s easy to setup and use. Because of the high resolution 4k, make sure your video card can support this resolution. The LCD’s have a white background meaning the case is white. Not a big deal for me since the backs were up against the wall, but if you wanted the LCD case to be black, then these will not work, unless they come in either color.

To start, I got this monitor on 3/17/22 for $429.99 and the sale price as of today is $199. Kinda salty that the price has dropped this much but for $200 this is a steal. It's not the most color accurate and it isn't intended to be a gaming monitor but you cannot beat the price for what you are getting. I use it as my secondary display and it has been great on both my Windows desktop and my work MacBook. If you just need this in the office setting, this is a no brainier. The one con to knock it down to 4 stars is the monitor doesn't switch inputs automatically.

The LG 27" IPS 4K monitor is an excellent entry into the 4K computer monitor arena. For the price I promise you will not beat it! It is only 60hz which would normally be a downside, however on a 4K monitor that is sometimes a benefit. There are not a lot of graphics cards out there that can push a 4K screen at higher refresh rates, and if you are into a graphics card for that much money it is highly unlikely that you would be shopping on the entry level spectrum of monitors anyway. With that being said this monitor is excellent for gaming and even productivity! I love using this to dock my work laptop to, it is nice having that much screen real estate to work with; especially in 4K! Gaming is also a visual treat on this screen, I honestly do not do a lot of gaming in 4K due to the hardware constraints but this monitor looks beautiful on any game I have ran on it! There is so much detail that you see on this monitor that lower resolution screens simply cannot display. Overall for the price point this is the absolute best option for a 4K screen for your gaming and productivity needs!

Excellent picture quality. Need to use the display point instead of HDMI to take advantage of 4k and 60hz display.

Great picture, though I haven’t gotten the sound from my computer to go through the screen’s built-in speakers. I don’t mind too much since I use it for a laptop with its own speakers, but I know it can be a dealbreaker for a lot of people.

I'm VERY picky about monitors and consider myself an enthusiast. This is the best monitor in this price range--period. In fact, I've used the internet for 30 years now and this is only the 3rd product review I've spent time to do. FYI, I use it for office work (no gaming) with my MacBook Pro 16" 2023
