This is the best 4K monitor out there for consoles currently. The HDR support is limited and is achieved by maxing the backlight and fairly convincing tone mapping. However, this monitor lacks local dimming and a sufficiently wide color gamut, so the impact of the HDR image won't be near that of a good HDR TV. I wouldn't buy this solely for the HDR support. This is however a great 4K panel. No visible backlight bleed, minimal IPS glow vs other IPS panels I've owned, and really good color accuracy and uniformity out of the box (I measured it with an X-rite i1 display colorimeter). The input lag is also low, and the motion clarity is very good for a 60hz panel. Its definitely a good 4K monitor for gaming.

The LG 27UK600-w initially caught my attention. I am a new PC gamer and I've become accustomed to 4k and HDR (thanks to my Xbox One X) so I bought this monitor. It looks great for 4k and would say it's mediocre for HDR. So why did I return it? After weeks of using it, I wasn't happy that it's only 60hz. For anyone who plays games, I now get why people say try to get a monitor that focuses on refresh rate vs just the 4k/HDR other stuff and well, I did just that. I bought a 2160p Asus ROG PG279 with a 165hz refresh rate. It's not technically 4k but 2160p is just as great in games. It doesn't have HDR but that's my ONLY gripe...but man the refresh rate of 165hz is amazing. So if you're a gamer, I wouldn't recommend this only because it's only 60hz. For non-gamers, this is a good monitor.

Love this thing! I bit the bullet and upgraded to a brand new AMD gaming computer, so I decided to upgrade to a 4K monitor as well. Why skimp on the graphics right? This exceeded my expectations, and I was expecting a LOT given the price point. The whites are bright white, the blacks are dark black, the refresh rate even with games on max settings makes games look real. I'm glad it has AMD Freesync too, considering I have AMD hardware in my PC. The HDR mode is pretty useless, but tweaking it for gaming is a snap. My only two gripes are that the power button is awkward to use without touching the screen, and the foot of the stand is over 18" wide, so it's hard to find a stand wide enough to accommodate it. But even with these cons, I love this monitor and plan to get 1 or 2 more for multiple screen gaming,

For the price and time of purchase, this monitor worked as needed and still does. If you're trying to purchase this now in 2024, there is better options for the same price to give you better performance. If you had no other choice, then this works great! No issues anywhere

Played every game without any problem no ghosting. Very fast response time great for multiplayer. I've been using this as my computer monitor as well and the colors pop.

Got this today to play my Xbox one x and I’m in awe of the graphics omg, I have never been a full on graphics nerd until now, like wow rise of the tomb raider and Fortnite look so freaking amazing my mouth dropped. Everything you would want at least in the gaming aspect, I will not use this for a computer monitor as I already have a 1080p monitor for computer related things.

I have to admit at first I was skeptical about this purchase purely because there aren't that many video reviews out there but let me tell you this monitor is amazing. Although I do have a pc, the main reason I got this is because of my Xbox one x and the games look great! I don't regret this purchase at all.

Had to return the first due to backlight bleed. The new one is perfect. All ports can output 4K at 60hz. Freesync keeps from screen tearing. I feel this monitor is best for Xbox One X owners because 4K at 60 fps is where Microsoft is focusing for their console gaming. Worth the money.

Best monitor I ever bought! Buying 2 more monitor this year, 2023.

Works great got this before i got my new 4k desktop tower very happy with it 4k movies look great on at i don't play games on this i use it to web browse with my desktop tower.

I been having this monitor for 4 years now. Yes im posting the review 4 years later, it has been a extremely great monitor for my xbox.ps, and pc. It still runs like brand new. And I have probably put over 5 thousand hrs into it

I bought this two months ago and was very impressed with the image quality. Unfortunately, after just 60 days, the monitor inexplicably stopped working. It will no longer turn on despite having power or display the on-screen menu. I have submitted a request to LG and I am waiting on a shipping label for them to send it to a repair center. Although it is under warranty, I am disappointed that the product did not last longer and that my defective product will not be replaced with a new item. Although the image quality is great, I would have a hard time recommending this to a friend knowing that some batches are apparently plagued by a manufacturing defect.

Very good reliable has some problems with hdmi ports but all in all good
