Customers are saying

Customers appreciate the 27UL600-W monitor's exceptional picture quality, vibrant colors, and impressive HDR performance. Many also find it to be a good value for its price and easy to set up. However, some users note limitations with the stand, lack of built-in speakers, and a 60Hz refresh rate. The absence of height adjustment is also a point of concern for some customers.

As I have no means of testing the technical performance of this monitor, I will simply say it comes with the proper cables, linked immediately to my system, and provides a crisp, clear picture. I have no need for the tilt and pivot mechanism of the spendier screen, and am very happy with the unit.

This monitor's resolution allows me to work with multiple windows open while still maintaining clear text. Some adjustment in Windows with text scaling was needed for me. 4K and HDR content look fantastic when connected with a streaming device. FreeSync removes screen-tearing when I play games on my PC with an NVIDIA graphics card.

A very good 4K monitor for a decent price

This is the 3rd one of these monitors that I now use for my work. It is a very good 4K monitor especially for the price. I use it with both MacBook Pros and Windows laptops using DisplayPort and it works great. The biggest disappointment is the HDR mode on them is pretty awful. HDR looks washed out and it's pretty much unusable for me. That doesn't really bother me though as they are very bright and the display looks fantastic running in 4K resolution. I don't use them for gaming so I can't say whether they would work well or not for games. The only other quibble that I have is that I really don't like how they will turn off so quickly when they don't a good signal(or any signal) from the HDMI or DisplayPort on the computer. It's annoying to troubleshoot when the monitor keeps going off, but since I rarely have issues with hookups to my computers, I don't consider it to be a problem. Overall, I've been very pleased with this monitor and I highly recommend it for purchase.

I bought this during the BF sales and for the price I really cannot complain. It's 4k with hdr support and a respectable 4ms response time. It's fantastic for a work monitor and editing videos/photos. I don't game on it, yet anyways, but I imagine it would be fine for that as well.

Great monitor. Connected to a Mac Pro (2013) and it is extremely nice. Easy on the eyes, resolution is great. I was concerned I would miss the monitor on my old iMac but I don't miss it at all. This is perfect.

    Great inexpensive 4k option

Ultimately this is a low cost option for a 4k monitor. With that being the case, there are going to be some pieces of the monitor that are cheaper. In this case, I think LG hit the mark exactly of what a 4k monitor in this price range should be. The panel and picture are great, and the only lacking pieces would be the stand. The good: - Beautiful and accurate screen - VESA mountability - Multiple inputs The bad: - Stand is not that great - Slight light bleed on corners I am surely being nitpicky with the 'The bad' section. Overall this is a great monitor, which is why I even bought a second one. The screen used won panel of the year a couple years ago for quality, so you will get excellent quality. There is some slight light bleed from the corners, but it is only noticeable when watching a movie during a dark scene and even then it is not overly noticeable. I use these monitors for both gaming and work (software development) and highly recommend them. I will likely be picking up a third to add to my setup as well.

I bought this because it was 4K. The picture quality is very good. The only drawback is it doesn't have any speaker output. Very hard to find that feature in 4K monitors right now. Ended up buying an Asus ROG 27" monitor and really love it. The best thing about this monitor is the price point.

Bought this monitor to have full 4K support for Netflix and HDCP 2.2. It definitely performs! I primary use a Pixio Prime PX7 for gaming so I can't comment on gaming performance for this monitor but I'm sure it'll do 4K 60Hz just fine with proper graphics card of course!

Monitor did not deliver 60 Hertz refresh rate to my MacBook Pro with the HDMI cable that came with the monitor. After replacing the cable, the monitor has been working well. It was frustrating to spend time with the LG and Best Buy tech support, and to spend more money to buy an additional cable to support the refresh rate in the monitor specs. LG and Best Buy should make it clear that the current HDMI cable does not support 60 Hertz refresh rate, or to provide a free cable that does.

Got this monitor to use with my new home computer. Really impressed with the image quality. Don't notice any glare. Running it at 4K, everything looks crisp with great color rendition. I mostly do game design and 3D animation, so using it professionally. Light weight and slim bezel.

Bought a normal monitor to use with my Mac laptop, and the picture quality was just not good. Returned it, and went with this one, based on both online reviews and the recommendation of the salesman. Fantastic picture, looks great.

Outstanding Monitors! I am not an FPS gamer, so this review comes from someone who owns three. I watch movies/tv, game (rts, rpg etc) and work/side as an IT pro. These are some of the best monitors i have owned. They are beautiful!

This monitor will literally make you better at all of your games. The response is ridiculous. I bought it to use with my PS4 Pro, specifically playing 2k lately, I’ve been greening everything, even with non-shooter builds. This thing is awesome.

This monitor is a thing of beauty. This panel is fantastic, minimal to no light bleed. For all intents and purposes, this monitor is as "retina" as my iPhone X. The colors are perfect, display is sharp, bright. I have NO regrets and would not hesitate to buy more of these.

I am using this monitor for tv and movies with a Roku stick+ and a Sony x800 bluray player. I can’t comment on how it performs with a computer but for my applications it is wonderful. For audio,I have it connected to a Bose Soundtouch 30.I don’t sit very far away and at that distance this setup is killer!

I did my homework and compared dozens of monitors and read reviews before buying two of these for a dual screen display. I was looking for something comparable in quality to an iMac retina display. These did not disappoint. The picture quality is very good. Very good value for the price.

While it may not be one of the top mentors out there, you can't go wrong with this one for the price. LG builds some great monitors. The HDR looks good as well, it could be a lot brighter by HDR standards though. Overall, this monitor has LG's great build quality and you won't be disappointed.

This monitor is incredibly cheap for what I'd expect of something of this quality. Not saying that it *is* cheap but a lot of the big 4K monitors out there cost way more. For those looking for a budget option that is super servicable, this is the monitor for you.

I have this connected to a 2018 Mac mini. As I understand Apple's branding, a 27" monitor would have to be 5k (rather than this monitor's 4k) to be considered "retina." I have the resolution "scaled" to 3840x2150 (to be big enough to see) and almost have to use a magnifying glass to see pixels. So, the screen looks awesome to me. Monitor has HDMI and Displayport input. Initially, I used the HDMI with the cable that came with the monitor. Occasionally, the screen would just go black for a few seconds and come back. Don't know if it is the monitor, or the Mac HDMI support. Ordered an Amazon Basics USB-C to Displayport cable, and this hasn't happened since I switched the connection.
