This fridge looks premium, and I'm sure it acts premium after a week or so. But I've not had this thing for a week.
Our old fridge had a setting above the water dispenser, and it told you the actual temparature. This fridge is at least twice as expensive as our last fridge - but the numbers above the fridge tell you the set temparature (NOT the actual temperature). This seems a bit odd to me.
The wifi, for whatever reason, wasn't even available for me to connect to my phone for a couple of hours. I would have thought it was my phone, except that the fridge did have a wifi it was sending out (just not the one you need to pair it with the LG app). It seems to me that if you have a "smart" anything, plug and play should be the norm (not "give it a few hours to warm up and then try to use it").
Lastly, speaking of "smart" and "plug and play" - if you think you will need ice within 48 hours of owning this thing buy a bag at the store (or buy a different fridge). That's right, this thing can't be expected to produce ice for two days after being plugged in.
I'm 48 hours into ownership, but the "you won't have ice for a while" was not part of the plan.
AND, speaking of ice, LG wants you to set the freezer to -4 if you want optimal ice production. This wouldn't be an issue if the previous fridge we owned did just fine, with more reasonable production set at 0). The previous ice maker was a fantastic ice machine. This one seems dubious, especially since it tells you that if it's not making enough ice you may actually need a different fridge (seriously, it's on the in-door ice maker).
I haven't used the ice balls yet, but I'm sure they will be nice.
In the end, I'm sure this thing will be great. But for the price, it is not what I expected.

Purchased this in Nov 2020. It's had one failure that was resolved, the second is a complete failure of the " closed system" a.k.a compressor. LG has not repaired it to date, it's been 10 days and noone has looked at it, and they cannot find anyone to repair it yet. A google search will show you there are large amounts of compressor failures. We lost $400 worth of food, and still have no proof that its going to get fixed anytime soon. Its under warranty for 5 years supposedly. We want our $3,603 back. Stay away from this manufacturer.

Very spacious. Love the extra draw and the third door.refrigerator is very deep so hard to reach the back. I got refrigerator organizers. Have one for jellies and one for condiments. I’ve the two ice makers.

This refrigerator has been great. Everything works as advertised with no issues. Was delivered and installed. Both ice makers function with no unforeseen issues. Maintenance appears to be very easy. Good features included with the Android app. As long as this product offers reliability, I consider the purchase to be an overall win. Significantly discounted when purchased.

this fridge has enough room in it to hold weeks (if not months) worth of food - did I mention it's big? Not just on the inside, but outside it's really big too

I am very upset with Best Buy! We scheduled delivery for Friday, April 4th including the costs for delivery, installation and haul away over 3 1/2 weeks ago and there was no reason for it being rescheduled noted. We paid good money for the on time delivery and we received NO phone calls from anyone regarding any delays. Suddenly, the afternoon before delivery, we received a email notifying us that someone had canceled our April 4th delivery, making NO attempt to contact us by phone regarding our urgent need. We have been without a refrigerator now for well over 3 1/2 weeks and was depending on Best Buy to insure the on time delivery. Even though we made every effort to make sure we were ready and were told they have the refrigerator in their possession, the delivery service suddenly (the afternoon before delivery) decided to make us wait an additional week (Friday, April 11th) for their delivery without any explanation. I called Best Buy and expressed our dismay. The Escalation Department did finally call me while I was writing this review and I expressed our need and urgency to them. The Escalation Department is supposed to call us back again tomorrow to see if they can get the refrigerator delivered to us any sooner. Perhaps they should muster greater control over their delivery service department. All we can do now is wait and keep our fingers crossed.
