    Piece of junk. LG has the worse product support. Can't get it repaired unless you donate your kidneys and heart.

    issue with brand new refrigerator

    I've only had this refrigerator 6 weeks and there is an issue with the freezer. I called LG and they confirmed it with the codes. They do not even have a technician in my area. I am in a very populated area. I have to wait 3-5 days for someone to even call me back.

    Another broken ice maker from the Koreans

    Really noisy and the craft ice maker just broke, not even 6 months in. LG support was so difficult to communicate with and finally said they would ship me a replacement ice maker part and that I would have to replace it myself.

    Worst product ever. Broke after less than 2 years. LG attempted to fix it seven times over 3 months before finally deciding it was unfixable. They were finally supposed to issue a replacement, then a credit. I've been waiting for a month and still nothing. They are "looking into it", and keeping bouncing me around to different departments. WORST PRODUCT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND. BEST BUY SHOULD NOT BE SELLING IT.

    Not standing behind Geek Squad warranty

    Bought an “Open Box” LG refrigerator and these are supposed to be “Geek Squad” certified. Had it delivered and within 24 hours, the fridge wasn’t cooling properly. Repair came out days later and said, “sorry, we can’t fix it because it will cost us (them) too much.” I bought the geek squad warranty, but they said I can’t use it until the first year is up. Manufacturer warranty isn’t valid because it’s “Open Box.” They say I have to return it and get money back. Well, that’s great if I can find another LG at the price I bought this one. What good is buying a geek squad warranty if they aren’t going to stand behind it. Now I have to go back into the store and deal with management to get a resolution that isn’t just, “Sorry, too bad.”

    4 grand nothing but problems since day 1 :( I see this being a rough ride ahead. :( frozen up twice. sensors failed now mainboard,plus 3 other parts and now possibly compressor because its over chilling( too cold) the entire fridge...
