Got my kitchen looking gorgeous. Loving the ice maker

The black stainless finish is beautiful. Good amount of freezer room but refreigerator has limited space for tall items like wine or juice bottles. Shelves on the inside of the doors are too shallow - not sure what could fit in them.

I purchased this refrigerator. I saw it on sale in another stores add and Bestbuy happily price matched them. The delivery crew was very professional. I love the unit. Lots of new features that my old one did not have.

I was skeptical of the door-in-door feature, but read positive reviews about it. Turns out we love it too - keep our breakfast things in there, and frequently used items. The drawer where you can specify produce is amazing. Vegetables used to go back in our old fridge within the week. I've got squash in there right now that's a week and a half old and looks like the day I bought it. The ice and water in the door look great. Note that we didn't realize it comes without filter installed until later - once we had that in, taste was excellent. The lighting inside is great, and controls are easy to follow. We love the layout of the fridge, and the 3 drawers in the freezer work great. The black stainless is great. Like the interior stainless touches on shelves, etc (even though they are plastic I'm sure). The look is fantastic. Coming up with downsides is hard - I would say 1) black on sides instead of stainless isn't great, but magnets do hold on the sides. Big fridge - for us it sticks out a bit more than we would like, but happy to trade off how nice it is to see everything in the fridge easily. The back to the door-in-door is a bit flimsy. We rarely use it though. Finally, the icemaker in the fridge door is really nice. Our old fridge's water never worked (repairman told us it's because the line went through the freezer). This one is super, but because it's not over the freezer, you have to transfer ice to the freezer occasionally if you want a lot of ice.

My refrigerator needed to stay in the garage over night because they would not take 3 hinges off a door!!

I have had LG in my last two homes and they are great, of course I got them from Best Buy.

I have now had this fridge for one week and am very pleased so far. All the features are as I had expected and there have been no problems thus far. I am very happy with the door in door feature as we can get the water bottles and can drinks without having to open full door and allowing the cold air to escape. The ice and water dispenser are very good also. Water comes out and there are no drips afterwards and the ice comes out faster than any fridge I have owned in past. The removable ice tray is also a great feature and I know I will be using that in the near future. Inside is so spacious and there is lots of storage space for all our needs. The freezer section is also spacious and I loved how I was able to place my full baking sheet of cookies that I had cut out to be frozen. That was something I never was able to do with my side by side fridge! Stainless steel finish wipes down easily and looks so beautiful! Delivery and set up was excellent and overall I am very happy with this purchase. Cost was much more than I have ever spent on any previous refrigerator but I truly feel this was an excellent purchase and would recommend this to all who are looking for a great fridge!

Other than the weeks of work I put into the new kitchen, I would cancel this order. Best Buy has the WORST scheduling program I have ever encountered

LG equipment is NOT very good. Our refrigerator failed twice (both times the compresser) once under the warranty (less than 1 year old) and again today after 7 years. For a refer that costs $1500 it should be better. It also had issues with the freezer 'defrosting' too much sometimes which would melt things like ice cream and such. Also, the water shoots out at an ANGLE rather than straight down so you can't just put a glass on the (tiny) tray, that's meant for what? To catch about 20 drops of water? And you can only get about 20 oz of 'cold' water before it runs out. We also had problems with our microwave (also LG) and stove (also LG). No more LG stuff for us! LASTLY, our OLD refrigerator that we replaced (is an old 2 door from the 1990's - very dated looking) is STILL WORKING - we use it as an 'extra' one out in the garage! So, it's been working for almost 30 years and this one didn't even last 10?

I have owned this fridge less than 4years. After about 1.5 years, the compressor had to be replaced. On July 4 of this year, the fridge stopped working yet again. I have made multiple calls to LG. We have been without a working fridge now for 35 days and counting. LG sent a contracted technician out here to work on the fridge 3 times now in the past 35 days. He replaced the compressor again and the coils and it is still not cooling properly. I wish that I could say that I just received a faulty unit but after researching this fridge, I found that this is a common issue and there is actually a class action lawsuit against LG. I don’t want to join in a lawsuit. I just want a fridge that works properly, especially given the price that I paid for this unit. I would expect a company like LG to be more accommodating to their customers. 35+ days without a refrigerator is unacceptable. We have over $7,000 worth of LG appliances in our kitchen alone, some of which I love, as well as TVs and other electronic devices, but after this experience, I have lost all confidence in LG and I will not spend another penny on an LG product ever again.

No fingerprints on unit ever, easy to clean outside, easily fits a tall water bottle below the dispenser. Only problem is people can't figure out there are 2 different dispensers for ice and water. Doors sometimes look closed but aren't resulting in ice maker getting clogged with melted cubes

I have had this refrigerator for 1.5 years and the day after thanksgiving the compressor went out. I woke up to water all over the floor and the freezer defrosting. Do a google search and you will see it is a common problem. Also when looking at these reviews, most are new owners. I loved my refrigerator, too.... at first. The right door doesn't open far enough to get the crisper drawer in and out easily for cleaning but that's not enough of an issue to pass the product up. But the compressor is. If you buy this, get the warranty otherwise you'll be like me, in the market for a new refrigerator. It is beautiful and VERY roomy and unfortunately no longer working.

We really like this fridge. It has been a great upgrade from our traditional style Kennmore. We love the black stainless and love the ice and water on the door.
