I did a lot of research before purchasing this refrigerator. To be honest after reading so many bad reviews on almost all brands, I wasn't very optimistic but I have to admit that this LG has just about everything I could ask for in a refrigerator. It fits in the same space as my much smaller side by side did. It's beautiful, not noisy at all and has tons of room & adjustable shelves for taller items. The door in door feature is very convenient too! The only thing I would change is the 3 crisper drawers are a little smaller than I'd prefer but it isn't a deal breaker for me. The freezer is huge & fits all my frozen foods with room to spare! The water & ice dispenser work great! I use the ice storage bin for extra ice & have never run out. We have had this LG for almost 2 months & so far we haven't had any mechanical issues with it. Time will tell but as of right now, I very highly recommend this LG!

After reviewing many refrigerators of different brands and going into different stores to physically look at them, touch them, opening doors and drawers, and compare features, we decided the LG Insta-View was the right choice for our home and needs. Once it was delivered to our home, set up, and to appropriate temperatures, we began moving our food from our old and crowded refrigerator into the new refrigerator, we knew immediately that we had made the right choice. It has plenty of room and adjustable shelves in the main section and more than plenty of room in the freezer with drawers to organize our foods and eliminate the "search and rescue" procedures that we had in our previous side by side refrigerator. We can now clearly see everything and it can remain very well organized. The outside water dispenser is great too, no more waiting for water to trickle out and fill a glass. the ice dispenser works just as well too. The most exciting and impressive feature of our new LG Insta-View refrigerator is the door in door and instant viewing feature which is great because we can now just knock on the glass door, get lighting and see exactly how much milk is left or if we need to buy and or access right in front without letting cold air escape from the rest of the refrigerator! At first we thought, why would I need it?, Now we think, why didn't we get this refrigerator sooner! All in all, we couldn't be more happier or pleased with our choice. Our family and friends like it as well and are amazed with the style and the features and always comment about how much they like it too.

This unit replaced a 31 cu ft LG that died after 5 years. I wanted a larger capacity unit but LG doesn't make the 32 cu ft anymore. What I like-i love the door in door feature. My last fridge had this and it was a must have on the new one. The newer models also have a glass on the door that illuminates the fridge when you knock twice. It's ok but not a must have. The lowest shelf glides out. This is very handy, especially if you have larger items on this shelf. One of the half shelves has a front that retracts back. This is helpful if you need extra storage for tap items. There is room for 4 gallons of milk in the door. What I don't like-LG continues to have 3 crisper drawers. None are large enough to hold enough produce or other items. The middle drawer is rediculously small. It's a stretch to fit carrots or celery in them. I wish they made a unit larger than 30 cu ft. The stainless on this unit, as with other LG products, is very difficult to clean. You need stainless steel cleaner and even then it is pretty smeary.

I've had the refrigerator for over a year. lots of room and keeps a steady temp all year. keeps fruits and vegetables fresh longer in the bins. I thought the door in door and see thru glass feature was a waste of money but I was wrong. This is a very useful feature, especially when you have 5 children! Looks great and works great

We love this fridge, but the size can be overwhelming when you get it home. Even after measuring, it appeared larger than we expected. That's not necessarily a bad thing though. When we were shopping for refrigerators, we wanted a bigger fridge than the one that we currently had. Storage space in our old fridge was always an issue. This fridge solves that problem. It's huge. We fit a ton more food in this versus our old fridge. But make sure you measure twice at home. This thing is huge. We almost had problems getting it into the kitchen because of the doors and hallways, so don't forget to measure your delivery path. Luckily, the handles were easily removed to make delivery easier. Originally, we were looking for the version of this fridge without the window, but that model wasn't available. In order to catch the sale at the time, we decided to go with this model. We're glad that we did. The window is a lot more useful than we expected. The kids love to knock and turn on the light. The door in door design is extremely useful as well. This is a feature we were definitely looking for in a fridge. It makes it very easy to get to commonly used items like milk, juice, and condiments. So far the only complaint that we have is the taste of the water. It seems like a common complaint for LG refrigerators is the taste of the filtered water. We've run a ton of water through it, but the taste remains. We want to try a different brand of filter, but can't seem to find anything but the LG branded filters. Pros: - Lots of space - Convenient door in door access - Convenient instaview glass panel - Looks great Cons: - Filtered water has a chlorine taste - Difficult to move in during delivery due to size - Non-magnetic doors - Not as fingerprint resistant as we had hoped

We looked at Samsung Smart Refrigerators and decided on LG because of compatibility with our Iphones. Note: Although you can change the settings remotely for your refrigerator, you can not monitor the actual temperature of the refrigerator. Generally we liked the layout of the LG, but the split layout of the fruit and veg bins reduced their storage capacity. We liked the ice maker although disappointed the freezer did not have one except a storage bin. Jury is still out on temperature control whereas temperatures varied 6 to 7 degrees at first. Hopefully, things will stabilize due to residue food temperatures to offset loss of cool air upon opening doors. The see through door is neat, but the temperatures in this area as noted by other people are around 40-41 degrees F while the rest of refrigerator is around 35-38 degrees F. Freezer seems to be spot on at the zero degree setting around -1 degree F.

Sleek and nice appearance. Doors don't open as wide as I've been used to but like the adjustable shelves. Really like the door in the door.

We have owned it for over a month now. It's absolutely amazing, we just love it!! It has lot of room and the door within a door is awesome.

We love our new fridge. The ice maker is little, so it doesn't hold a lot. But we use the extra ice bucket to store ice for future use. The insta-view is great. The door in door makes for quick access for drinks.

Space is great in this fridge. Its big but we love it. Love the added feature door in front. We store our daily use items in the front which makes it easy to grab and go. We love it so far.

Works great...very quiet and plenty of space for food and drinks. Exterior finish is great and looks impressive. Everyone loves the see through door feature

Very nice! doors are a little heavy, if its not completely level just them closing naturally will shake it a little. So big and spacious we never run out of room anymore! Ice is made pretty fast. One thing the warned us about is the reservoir for the ice is not very big. As long as you pour a load or 2 into the bin in the freezer it works out fine. Highly recommend just wish the doors shut softer.

Very spacious and the lighting in the fridge is excellent. Having enough space in freezer for three drawers is great and a must. Front easy access door for a quick drink is awesome and my girls love tapping and seeing what their options are before they even open it. Beautiful inside and out.

So far so good. Concerned about compressor issues but it’s been pretty good so far. Have to really keep an eye on temperatures in case they start going the wrong direction. Other than that it’s very spacious and sleek

Just bought this and absolutely love it. Fridge is very spacious and has plenty of compartments for fruit, vegetables, and meat. Only downside I've see is that it doesn't have enough room for tall items like 2 liters or milk. One of the shelves splits in half though, so we make it work. Love that the icemaker is built into the doors and not taking up space on the shelf like other fridges we looked at.

I had a side by side for eight years, I didn't want to switch because of the high price french door. But it is worth the money! The french door offers much more space in both refrig and freezer. Love the LED lighting! I thought the see thru door was just a gimmick, my gf convinced me to get it. Itis very useful. Most of the refrigerator is visible thru the door. Great convenience and energy saving feature. So far so great

Very quiet, Large capacity, Enough Ice We were worried if the ice maker would be able to keep up with us as we live in Florida and go through a lot of ice. There has been no problem thus far and ice is always ready when we need it. There has been one problem with the freezer drawer handle popping of, but I believe that I finally have it secured.

I love the size of this fridge. I though the glass door was a gimick but now that we have it I love it. You don't feel cold air falling out when you open the glass door, but when you open the main doors you do. That should save on electric

This refrigerator is amazing! So much room for everything and all shapes and sizes. I love everything about except the fingerprints. It’s not bad with just my husband and myself but after the grandkids are over there are lots of fingerprints.

New fridge has been in service for a month. We replaced an old side by side. The interior is very roomy, but different from the old one. That has taken some time to adapt. I can detect a very high pitched noise almost constantly, but, for the most part, it is quiet. Ice has not been an issue, but there are only 3 of us. Milk does not seem to chill very well in the front "door in door", so it has been relocated to the interior. The knock-knock door light looks fabulous on the sales floor, but is NEVER used. Even by my gadget obsessed husband. Its like a carnival attraction when company comes over. The fridge I replaced was 18 years old and still working great. Even the ice maker. We will see if LG can live up to Kitchen Aid standards.
