Purchased one and a half months ago. Despite our angst replacing an ancient (but reliable) refrigerator that still worked pretty well, so far we are very pleased. Installed without a hitch, it fired right up and everything worked as advertised. Its much bigger than the old fridge and makes a pretty imposing statement in our kitchen. But, its real quiet and luckily the kitchen is just big enough to handle it. We especially enjoy the door-in door and the separate spout for filtered water. Due to the design and capacity, the refrigerated food is at eye level and everything's not crammed out of sight. Its much easier to keep tabs on everything and stuffs not getting hidden and spoiled. Still figuring out the best use for the customchill drawer, but we expect that will vary with circumstances throughout the year. The icemaker keeps up with the two of us for now, but we'll probably have to stockpile ice in the freezer this summer and for special events. With all the capacity, we don't need a second refrigerator any more, but will maintain one in the garage anyway for convenience. Time will tell about reliability...keeping our fingers crossed!

We purchased all new kitchen appliances last year before the holidays and we love all of our LG picks! The fridge is a major upgrade from the side by side we switched from. The freezer space and drawers are by far my favorite part of this fridge. The only two cons....1. The ice maker bin is EXTREMELY small.If you are having a party or having even just a few people over you will be out of ice within an hour or two. 2. We didn't notice the awkward space inside the fridge while in the store. You aren't able to stand a 2 liter up on the very bottom shelf which is a bit strange. We bought plastic soda organizer's so we can lay those types of bottles down flat. Not a big deal but something we didn't even think about while buying!

This is a nice Frig but like most items manufactured today it's only made to last a couple years. Best Buy was quick to upsell me their 5 year "we will fix it or replace it" extended warranty. That sounds fantastic except they don't explain until you have an issue that LG's agreement with Best Buy is that they are the ones that HAVE to fix it and you are at their mercy. I have been trying since the end of June to have my $3500 LG frig repaired, it's 52 degrees inside, not capable of keeping milk from spoiling. Geek Squad Super Team has told me my extended "fix or replace policy only covers things that LG doesn't cover (why wasn't that explained up front). It took almost one month for LG to send a tech out and he looked at it, said the red light on the circuit board was flashing telling him the compressor was bad. He unplugged it, vacuumed the back, plugged it back in and said now we have to wait 24 hours to see if it works....if not I would have to call again to reschedule to have the compressor replaced. I called Geek Squad only to be told it wasn't their problem, I would have to deal with LG directly...... SO BUYER BEWARE, DON'T BOTHER WITH THE GEEK SQUAD .... I have spent from 1 hour to 3 hours on hold with them only to be told I was sold a worthless product. S0 5 weeks without a working Refrigerator....thanks Best Buy and Geek Squad.

Getting the Fridge installed was a bit harrowing. Our house had narrow doorways and after a lot of measuring we had to remove some molding of one of our doorways. Even after that, the delivery people had to remove the doors off the fridge. Make no mistake it is big! Our biggest love of features are: 1. Door I door to access the most popular drinks. 2. Variable temperature drawer to keep our eggs cheese and bacon in. 3. How quiet the fridge is. 4. The door open alarm. Only a few annoyances. 1. You need the door open alarm because it is easy to accidentally not close the doors easily. 2. Not enough tall bottle storage although the half shelf helps.

Just love the refrigerator. Haven't had it for very long but so far it is everything I expected. I looked at this refrigerator for over a month and a half and compared it with other brands and always came back to this one based on everything it does for you. I have small grandchildren and the middle drawer is just great for storing their drinks and snacks. So easy to teach a 4 year old this is your drawer and here are your things. If there is anything that someone might complain about it would be the icemaker. Not a lot of ice but for my needs it is just right. If you were planning a party you might want to bag a few bags of ice and store in the freezer beforehand.

The refrigerator is a welcome addition to our kitchen!! The foot print is not too big. Initially I was worried this could be a little too big but it really does not take more than inch extra space in depth. The design is what is so efficient. Excellent use of space and the door in door concept is simply great!! The Chiller and Freezer are huge. Lots of space. Freezer has three sections which is great too. The only reason I give it one star less is because the ice storage is small. You can always store extra ice in the freezer but it is a manual exercise. Happy with the purchase otherwise!!

The LG refrigerator is spacious and well lit on the inside.Lots and lots of space with handy \ cool storage bins. Very quiet. The freezer also has two (2) slide out storage trays, perfect for Pizza's and the like. On the down side, the Best Buy delivery and installation folks were rude and sloppy. The didn't level the unit and kinked the water line (they ran over it with the refrigerator) so the ice maker doesn't work properly. They complained about their job(s) the whole time they were at our house and argued with each other. Very unprofessional.

I can't imagine being without this refrigerator. It's made my life so much more organized and has already saved me the cost of gallons of milk. Because household members liked to stand in front of refrigerator with the door open and look for some thing, any thing, I was throwing out half used gallons of milk constantly. The door- in- door has stopped that waste and finding things and keeping the refrigerator clean is easy. There is so much room I can find things when I need them and this saves time, energy, products and my sanity. Wonder how I did without this for so long. Hands down the best refrigerator purchase I ever made.

This is a large and spacious full featured refrigerator. I really like the door in door for quick access to frequently used items and the chill drawer is pretty neat. It's super quite very pleasing in appearance. We love our new refrigerator. Be sure to measure your available space for your refrigerator. This is a quite large unit. Also understand to increase the capacity of the refrigerator the ice maker is smaller than other units. If you take the latter into consideration I believe you'll enjoy this refrigerator as much as we do.

We purchased this item after several weeks of research. After visiting the store, we were instantly impressed with the look, style and customer rating. We decided not to go with counter depth model, because frankly, the space inside is like a "mini fridge". We selected the 29 cubic ft model and it fits like it was made for our kitchen. The door within the door option is the only way to go. Some buyers complain that the ice maker does not produce and store enough ice, but even when our children were kids, we never used that level of ice. Besides, other models that produced high volumes of ice, took away of great deal of fridge space because of the size of the ice maker. Like most people, when we entertain, we buy bags of ice. If you are looking for style, and quiet dependability, this is the only choice.

It is a very roomy, quiet frig. The door-in door was very useful for getting access to drinks, milks and coffee cream (~20 time per day). The light is bright, in side air is always fresh. Compressor is very quiet. Water and Ice dispenser work like a charm. I was selecting between an LG and Samsung. This Frig just won my wife over after we visited couple places to compare. Highly recommended.

My Refrigerator was purchased and paid for in Feb before quarantines and by the time it came into stock Mar 25th, it could no longer be delivered inside the house. (we were ok with the longer lead time bc we were replacing our old one) Luckily husband found a YouTube video for how to take the doors off and such because it was too wide to get into the house otherwise....and my husband and SIL wrestled it in the house- It took all their strength to do so even after removing the things the video told us how to remove! Glad it didn't send either to the hospital during this time so unless you are strong able bodied people would not recommend you try until Best Buy can do in home delivery again. If you are- I love that LG provided instructions to work around the failure of delivery as we already donated our old one to a family who does not own a functioning frig. and needs one! Past corona virus my only con would be the water dispenser - I missed my old one which was set up to dispense hands free in predetermined amounts. It also had a better place to rest the water container you are tyring to fill. The rest of the frig is what I love and outweighs my con - it is so easy to organize things and fits the extra food we are buying in one trip in order to reduce our risks of infection by reducing grocery trips right now!

The black stainless steel color is amazing and coordinates well with my existing stainless steel appliances, nice contrast. My kitchen does not look like the inside of a spaceship. I love the space, storage and shelve options inside. The middle fridge drawer is a plus! I keep thinking its part of the freezer. Kids love the drawer's ease of reach for smaller children to grab healthy snacks, yogurts, cheese, ect. Also they love the in door opening for quick juices and refreshments. It's nice and whisper quiet unlike the "other" brand that had to be returned for noise violations in my kitchen! Overall very satisfied with this purchase and I am a true gadget girl at heart!!

Great refrigerator with amazing space. The design and storage options should satisfy everyone. Runs quiet. No complaints. Best Buy delivery was excellent!

I purchased this LG refrigerator when my 20yr old Kenmore started having cooling issues. I love that this one doesn't have the ice maker in the refrigerator section. There is so much room in this fridge that I cannot seem to fill it up, lol, which is a good thing. The freezer is very large. I am very pleased so far with this purchase and would recommend to anyone who needs a large capacity fridge. It runs very quiet and I cannot even hear the ice when it is released from the tray. Love the door in a door feature and we use it all the time. So far if there are any cons it would be that I am short and cannot reach past the front of the top shelf.

This is an amazing refrigerator. Virtually every bell and whistle you can get on a fridge it has. We love the door within the door feature and the middle drawer is great for parties (cakes, vegetable trays etc). When not entertaining perfect for bottled water. Very versatile. This refrigerator is very quiet. Make sure you measure! This refrigerator is very large and deep. So much so that they had to remove the doors to get it in the house which I didn't antipate. LG makes a very good product and this unit will look good in any kitchen.

I bought this refrigerator a month ago and I really like it. I was interested to know how much space all the items from my old refrigerator would take up. I was extremely surprised to learn that after moving all the contents into the refrigerator There was a ton of space left over. I hate having a dig around or move a lot of items to get to other items and this refrigerator gives you the space you need. The door in door feature is awesome. My 5 year old son can get his drinks out and not stand there with the door wide open.

Much more spacious than my last refrigerator. The door-in-door and middle drawer are very nice features. My only complaint is that you must make sure the doors close properly. The right door requires an extra push.

The door-in-door feature is wonderful and I like the size of the ice cubes it makes. The freezer drawer is nice because it also has two pull out shelves, which is perfect for frozen pizzas! It runs well and is very quiet. The only thing I would call disappointing is the french doors. Since my refrigerator has to be next to a wall, one door can't open all the way. I wish it came with the option of a single door with water and ice! But, all other brands don't offer this, so no big deal. This is my first LG and if it lasts like my previous refrigerator (Kenmore-15 years), I will be a life long buyer!

I am truly super happy with our purchase. It's extremely large and roomy for tons of food with so much organization. I love the three drawers in the freezer!! The only thing bad that I have to mention it the water. dispensing unit on the front is really tight, if you have any tips of thicker mug or glass, the water spewed everywhere because it's spout doesn't come out very far at all.
