LG has replaced everything possible on my unit and it still wont cool. After 7 trips to my house, me losing money taking off work, and throwing away food, my fridge still isn't working. And instead of replacing the unit its let's try something else. Never again will I EVER buy LG again.

We haven't even had this fridge for 2 years the ice maker doesn't work, the error button keeps coming on the front door panel, and the freezer doesn't freeze anymore. Not even 2 years old yet!!

Do Not Buy This Refrigerator

Ice maker stopped working and it seems impossible to get it working again. I've already spent $500. Not spending any more. So disappointing!

Since it was delivered, we have had it serviced 4 times because of ice build up on the fan. If you are going to purchase this refrigerator do yourself a favor and buy the 3 year extended warranty. When ice builds up on the fan it sounds like you have a steam engine in the kitchen every time it cycles. Not recommended.

3 yrs motor broke

Get Extended Warranty
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Paid over $3000 for this refrigerator and the ice maker fan froze up after a year and a half. It took 3 visits to diagnose and fix it -- that's 3 days off work. According to the repair guy, it's a known issue and LG has tried to resolve it by adding something to keep the fan from freezing. But he said it doesn't fix the problem, it only staves off the eventual break down. He told me to keep the extended warranty up and that this will continue to be a problem. Ugh, never again will I buy LG.
