Worst experience buying an appliance ever. Team delivered and it was great, but after that everything went downhill. 4 days later received and error code that required a visit from a technician, called Best Buy and they could not get anyone for over a week they told me to call LG called LG and they scheduled an appointment and no one showed up. Called back they escalated and I never heard anything else from them. Still waiting for a technician to arrive. Fridge broke for over a week with no resolution.

Never Buy Open Box

It was on the floor as a display and didn't have any blemishes or scratches. We even have pictures of it in perfect condition. When it was delivered to us it looked like it had been run into with a forklift. the freezer drawer handle was dented in badly and there were small dents all over the unit. We called in right away and were told that since it was an open box, they couldn't do anything about it. When we told them that there were no dents on it when we purchased it the didn't believe us until we told them that we had pictures of it before. They refuse to repair or replace the unit and offered us a small amount of compensation for the trouble. the amount they are offering isn't enough to cover the repairs. long story short, do not buy anything that is an open box from them and do not trust the delivery company that they use.

We have been calling Best Buy and LG and they were unable to help us with the problem. This is brand new. No courtesy from them at all. The water dispenser only function for one day, that's it. ONE DAY! They need to help! They need to mean their customer service.

I understand not doing installation, but they should pick up the old refrigerator if it's out front and available. I may cancel the sale if there isn't a solution soon.

Water dispenser beeps randomly on its own. The ice started melting wetting up the floor. I call lg and the say it was out of warranty.

My existing fridge was DOA and I needed something I could load and go in a hurry to save my groceries. Spotted this fridge on the floor at my local store. I absolutely love this fridge. It will likely move to my next home with me. Dual ice makers work great tons of space and the dual action door for quick access is awesome. The unit was essentially flawless despite being a display. My only issue is I didn't measure so it is slightly too big (My Fault) and the one door can't open all the way without contacting the wall (Again, my fault).

If you consider $2,000 plus product should need to be unplugged and defrosted every 2 months normal then go ahead. There is a defect in the processors and a class action lawsuit which is still ongoing. Meanwhile we are stuck with a 9 month old fridge that stops working every every 2 months and needing to move all of our food to another cooler. Don’t do it
