Time will tell. I love the french door style, because it makes it so much easier to get to the contents and stuff doesn''t disappear to the back.

I heard rumors that LG had issues with their compressor. I figured with the 5 year warranty on the compressor plus labor, I should be good. Well, the compressor went out. Contacted LG and they won't do anything for me. The only service center was 50 miles from me and they flat out told me they won't touch it. I went to a local appliance store, they told me they will not sell or service anything of LG's. I purchased a new GE refrigerator while I was there and then I decided to purchase a new dishwasher while I was at it. LG can't even get service centers to touch their junk.

We will shop at Best Buy again for sure. Salesperson was great and helpful. Best Buy sent e-mails concerning the delivery schedule.

I would only recommend this fridge if ice dispenser is not important to you.
