We waited 72 hours on the first one. The refrigerator would not go below 38-39 degrees. Best Buy replaced it with the same model the following week and it did the exact same thing. By then we were throwing out food that was spoiling. Do NOT order this refrigerator. We’ve were told by a repairman the new linear compressor in this model is not working.

LG Doesnt honor warranty

Unfortunately it died 2 weeks short of its one-year warranty, so still under LG warranty. Contacted LG support (cant speak to any person, must use Chat bot). After doing this twice, LG said would get repair scheduled within 2 days, promised if not repaired in 10 days would offer refund. Repairman came 8 days later replaced compressor, said would start working 24-36 hrs. It NEVER got below 68 degrees in fridge or freezer. We contacted repairman, never heard back. Tried back thru LG 5 days later, got same spiel about trying to repair, needing another 13 days to repair. No offer of replacement or refund. We asked!! Weve been without a refrigerator now for over 3 weeks, with NO END IN SIGHT. Customer service STINKS! Stay far far away from this!! We now plan to junk it, taking over $1500 loss, and buy a different brand refrigerator.
