Loud noise after 5 months

When we open the door the noise stops. Need to call LG and figure out what the heck is going on.

Nasty Tasting Water

Dispensed water has very nasty taste, even after drawing 17 gallons of water (2.5 gallons recommended by LG) thru the dispenser over 3 day period. This new refrigerator replaced a 9 year old LG with no water issues. LG customer service Is blaming the nasty tasting water on braided stainless steel water line installed by Best Buy. Best Buy is saying they used the water line specified by LG. LG is saying the water line should be PEX Food Grade. Waiting 3 weeks for an in stock water line to be brought out by Best Buy. In the meantime, I am having to buy bottled water and bagged ice at the rate of $10 per day, making me even more unhappy. Never again.

Do not buy at Best Buy

Geek Squad is no help with the repairs LG did help me but I would not recommend Geek Squad or this refrigerator save yourself the time and trouble dealing with them Next time I’m going to Home Depot

However, The Refrigerator works great. The Delivery and installation was POOR. DID not know looking for a new one that I would got scratch and Dent!!

Food, with nowhere to go

Because there is no refrigerator to put in the spot. It has been delayed. Oh wait! It was delayed again. My outlet is getting lonely. The weather is getting cold. Not worth the price

We avoided drinking the water anyway because it still tasted like plastic. Same problem with the ice. Ice maker still works but the ice tastes like plastic.

To resolve this issue, we recommend trying the following steps:
Ensure the water filter is installed correctly and that the filter is the correct LT1000P model for your refrigerator.
After replacing the filter, it may take some time for the water and ice to completely clear any residual tastes from the plastic. We suggest discarding the first few batches of ice and water after a new filter is installed.
If the issue persists, it might be helpful to check the air filter (LT120F) as well, as a blocked air filter can sometimes contribute to odors or tastes in both water and ice.

rude delivery driver

He ignored me, took the front door off its hinges without consulting me, wrote notes on his hand and back up when he called to get authorization on-something walked out without saying goodbye, parked the van in the middle of the street near my house, they put the handles of the fridge on upside down and were overall gruff and disrespectful

Looks pretty—water tastes bad!

Posted .Please know that your health and satisfaction matter to us the most, thus, we're saddened to hear your feedback with this LG Fridge's water taste. Although, there are several possible causes and solutions to consider:
1. Newly installed water lines: Flushing the new water line a couple of times can help remove any residual plastic taste
2. Emptying the tank or reservoir once or twice may also improve the taste
3. Water filter: Ensure that the water filter is properly installed by gently twisting it to the right. ensure that you're using the right water filter type for your LG Refrigerator. If the taste persists, it's possible that the water filter should be replaced.
4. Water supply issues: If the water tastes salty even after removing the filter, the main water supply may be the problem.

Water leak

Thursday I noticed water on the ledge under the left side French door. The water dispenser housing is leaking. I called LG today. A repairman is coming on Monday. We’ll see what happens. At this moment I am not happy with my purchase. Hopefully LG will remedy the situation.

Two warranty repairs done under a year

Quality is less than expected. Life span too short

In less than 6 months the external LED night light stopped working. Them little over a year the filter housing started to leak water inside the refrigerator so we turned off the water and now the water dispenser and ice maker are not working.

recommend the product, but not the Best Buy servic

The technician who came for delivery was extremely rude. He rang the bell, and when I came out, he was on his phone. He continued to talk to someone for a while. I assume the call did not go well because he was agitated. When I asked a couple of questions about the fridge, he told me that it was not his job to explain. DO NOT RECOMMEND BEST BUY SERVICES
