    This refrigerator is brand new so I can't really evaluate it this early. But initially everything is there that is supposed to be and it's okay. I don't have any problems yet.

    Don’t get geek squad extended coverage

    Started having issues with the freezer building up ice on the floor of freezer . Now the refrigerator isn’t keeping temp. This happened on a Sunday . I contacted Best Buy Monday (today is Wednesday) regarding this issue and the informed me I had purchased the geek squad protection plan. Great ! Well I thought . Turns out getting them to come out in a timely manner is almost impossible. Apparently they hire a third party to handle the bulk of their calls. So what you are paying Best Buy for is a third party service . Not what I was expecting. Now I have to talk to two different people just to get someone to come out, and they are not on the same page. Best Buy states one date and time and the third party says another . In the future I will not waste money on “extended warranty “ better off taking that money and saving it and paying for this service yourself from actual professionals.

    This fridge was great at first. Then at 2 1/2 yrs the freezer fan decided to go out and without that fan, no cooling in the refrigerator section. It wasn't until this happened to us did I find how often this is happening to owners. So don't buy this unless you can afford to shell out hundreds more for the extended warranty. That alone should be a red flag. LG doesn't factory warranty its products much longer than it takes to get it home. Imagine car shopping and the manufacturer offers just a one year warranty. Then the fan goes out, you're paying extra for this "total tech membership" which you think gets you preferred service, yet the geek squids tell you they can get someone out in 2 weeks. So in desperation, you call LG service direct. Well thats about $450 up front and they won't even tell you when you're forced to pay up front how long it will be until a repair tech can get there. So I'm waiting, waiting, waiting for LG to let me know how far out the service call will be. I wouldn't recommend buying this fridge unless you 1) have the extra cash for the extended warranty you must have because LG has NO faith in their lousy products, you live close to a repair service that works on LG because you can forget getting service from Best Buy within the near future and lastly, have space in your home for a backup fridge. Well, got to head out to Lowes and see what they have in back up fridges for my already overcrowded garage. Maybe i'll take the doors off this former appliance and put plants in there.

    Missing basic functions, deceptive marketing

    We've had this model for almost a year now and have discovered fundamental issues with its functionality. It says it has Wi-Fi but it doesn't. The ice maker doesn't have an auto-stop function, it just keeps making ice until you flip a switch. The temperature control and other controls are minimalistic, you can't even adjust the temperature beyond a few degrees. I wish I could find this thing back

    Dispenser does not give you cold, water and dispenser. Does not give you ice ice came from the box inside the fridge.

    Stay away. Only 4 months old and it is constant headaches. Leaking, error codes and not cooling. LG is useless and will not help. Do not buy this refrigerator

    Broken refrigerator

    Love the fridge but it stopped working would not cool ff-e error code lg wants over 400.00 for repair. Bought 12/21 broke 12/23 not happy

    LG Support is the absolute worst

    LG support is nonexistent. I bought my refrigerator in 2017, and they have replaced the compressor 3 times, the coils 2 times, and the main power board once, and the 3rd compressor that they just installed quit working 12 days after it was installed. Getting ready to sue in small claims court.

    Refrigerator issues

    Don't buy LG appliances. We have had major issues with both our LG French Door refrigerator, and our LG dishwasher, both un under three years. Bad brand. Will never buy LG again.

    If your looking to spend a bounce of money on an extremely poorly engineered piece of crap that’s going to completely fall apart just after the warranty expires then this frig is for you! This thing is utter crap. It is designed to fail.

    LG is a bad choice

    Worst refrigerator I have ever owned. Ice maker is a joke. makes about 6 cups a day. also makes nice round drink ice balls.(3 per day) Finish is easily damaged. I have nothing good to say about it.
