Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Despite saying "Virtual surround-Offers rich, detailed audio" this monitor does NOT have speakers. Had I realized right away it wouldn't have been such a big deal but first I spent a large amount of time #too embarrassed to admit actual amount# before I concluded it didn't have speakers.... very frustrating. The monitor itself is beautiful and I love having the split screen instead of 2 smaller monitors.

Great Monitor - Especially for the price i paid

MacBook Air - Buyer Beware

I purchased the LG 29UM57-P to use with my MacBook Air (mid 2013) and El Capitan OS X (10.11.3). If you can get your computer to detect this monitor, it's a moral victory in itself. Because a Best Buy salesperson said that this device was compatible with my computer, I'm especially disappointed.

Amazing Monitor For Gaming and Multitasking!

The screen width is so helpful providing a massive field of view, and playing splitscreen with friends is like each having one normal sized screen! The image quality is amazing, full 1080p. I bought this open box and have had no issues, would highly reccomend it!

Not compatible with most computers
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Apparently this monitor is for tv and gaming and not compatible with most computers. I did not see any information regarding this issue so bought it to go with a new computer. After spending hours trying to hook it up and chatting with LG mobile it appears it's not for computers. .altho no one can really confirm that. LG said not to use an adapter and said all hp computers use LG screens. Except this one.

The no-bezel photo representation is misleading
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went to the store and saw that there is half inch bezel on all four sides of the screen. The photo attached to this online is highly misleading and I saw at least one other low rating review because of this. BestBuy, please fix this asap, otherwise it erodes the confidence of online buyers visiting your site for products.
