The sub crosses over to high and becomes localized so you need to keep it as close as possible to the bar. Sounds a little bit to much like tv speakers or a loud phone or tablet

My gripes come with the best buy refurbished condition excellent. When I went to pick it up there was no box, remote or cables just the bar and sub. Ask the employees if they had forgot to give them to me and they said that was all it came with so I had to buy some cheaper ac cables to fit the bar and sub. When I went to use it on my lg c2 it hooked up seamlessly and was easy to set up. Unfortunately the sound and bass were meh and the only way I could get decent bass during a marvel movie action scene was to use the bass blast setting. I'm not sure if mine was defective or the cables not being the originals was the cause but the sound is worse than my $200 logitech 2.0 system.
