    Despite my ownership of an LG TV, which should have theoretically resulted in an optimal setup, I encountered significant difficulties in comprehending dialogue while watching television. Additionally, the subwoofer's performance was virtually nonexistent, regardless of the settings and volume adjustments I attempted.

    Looks great but the sound quality is a little tinty, meaning things like voices are very high pitched. No equalizer to adjust sound.

    For $499, this setup was a huge disappointment. Maybe my expectations were inaccurate/high, but for this amount of money, I expected richer, warmer, and more robust sound than what this delivers. I use AudioQuest cables/connections, so I know it's NOT the cable/connectors that's lacking. Simply poor quality for the money!

    Awful experience. Highly recommend soundbar by Best Buy… 12 months out from purchase and it starts continuously disconnecting from the LG TV. Resetting temporarily fixes the problem, but happens with more and more frequency. Now it’s doing it every day at about 13 months from purchase. Just outside of warranty. Known issue reported by many other owners. Buy a Sonos Arc instead

    Not bad if you buy it for $300. But now the price is too high for its performance. samsung q600b is a better choice

    Do Not Buy / especially from Best Buy

    I bought this soundbar along with a TV in July 2023. It was delivered and installed by Best Buy. Late November 2023 the sound bar stopped working. I called Best Buy because I pay for their Total Care program. They first set up an appointment to send someone out to fix it. They called a day before the appointment and told me they charge for that visit when the sound bar is still under the 1 year warranty. I told them to cancel the $130 call and that I won’t be buying any more major electronics or appliances from Best Buy because they don’t honor their own warranty program or the manufacturers. Just a FYI if you were also expecting Best Buy to honor their extended support service. They won’t!

    Volume is all over the place, both between sources and on same source. Changes made in the app do not help this. I bought because I have LG television and expected this to be a good choice. I would return it if I hadn't spent so much time mounting it.

    I got the thing on Tuesday afternoon. I tried and tried to get it to sync the subwoofer, it finally did but nothing was coming out of it. Then I started all over and never did get it synced again. I read some reviews about the app being snarky. So Wednesday morning, it went back to the store. Sometimes it is just better to be able to do things without an app.

    Buyer beware for open box items. This item came without ANY power cables, without the original packaging, and it was in “destroyed” condition. Both the subwoofer and sound bar looked like it had been dropped from 10 feet and placed in a box. Best Buy - you need to actually INSPECT your open-box products prior to selling them. I wouldn’t even have bought the subwoofer and sound bar I received for $50 at a garage sale. Best Buy, you can be better.

    Waste of money

    Purchased this soundbar last year and it is already not working. Wont stay connected to LGWOWCAST or hdmi cable. Paid $800 for what i thought was a quality set up. Contacted LG and they would be more than happy to charge me to take a look at it. 2 months outside of warranty and they cant even stand behind the product they sell. Never buy a LG product again. Save your money and get a samsung, the soundbar and subwoofer i had sounded better and lasted longer than this garbage set up

    Wouldnt recommended. I had so many problems getting this thing tobsync up and when i did, the sound was off when a character talked. Now, i did buy it open boxed, so maybe that was the problem with it. Either way, pay a little more and get the 5.
