great refrigerator but did not realize how deep it is.

We recently purchased a new home and needed to purchase a new refrigerator. We knew we wanted a french door so we looked at every possible option out there. We decided on the LG 31.0 Cu not only for its size but for its looks, efficiency and what you got for the money. It is pricey but well worth it. The LED lighting is awesome and the space in it both in the fridge and freezer are PLENTY! It is extremely quiet when making ice and cools just fine, no problems. Only thing I wish was slightly different is the water dispenser..First use we placed the glass where the ice dispenses and pressed the water button...water spilled on the floor because of where the water actually comes out of is the small spout above water button..we all got a laugh out of it....Overall BEST fridge we have ever had. If you are spending the money this is a winner

It is not getting cool and freezer is not working. Person who came to repair he said it will cost 1600 to replace and to get it work.

We absolutely love this refrigerator! There is always plenty of space and the ice maker is built right into the door, rather than taking up part of the refrigerator space. Shelves are adjustable and has a built-in odor control. Very quiet and you can adjust the temperature of freezer. No complaints except that the stainless steel doors show EVERY single fingerprint/smudge. With two boys (16 & 14) and my husband, I am constantly wiping it down. However, the positives definitely outweigh this one negative. Bottom freezer has three storage compartments and two drawers -- tons of room!

I have been waiting on Best Ruy to get back with me about the display lights not working on the door and the ice box freezing up so you can not get crushed ice through door

I have had this fridge for about a month and it works perfectly so far.Contrary to some of the other reviews I have experienced no dripping from ice maker.Just make sure the icemaker door is properly latched.So far we have a adequate supply of ice cubes.The fridge is very quiet and works as advertised.I am very impressed with the overall looks and quality and the shelf arrangement is about as good as it gets.Lots of room and the led lighting is super.It is the nicest fridge I have ever had and very pleased and would buy one like this again. Maybe a bit spendy but it is worth it.

Originally bought the Samsung HARS Stainless Steel fridge, (4 door RF4287HARS) My wife and I were super excited for it. The Samsung was heavy (delaminated our floor tiling), Loud (low rumble every-time the variable speed compressor started and ran) the ice/water dispenser made no sense (would get ice when wanted water and vice-versa) and the third door was silly, we'd always forget about it. We had best buy look at the fridge and of course they found nothing wrong. But the guy did put on the work order the fridge was louder than customer expected. The final straw with the Samsung was when the touch screen went out, Anyway we exchanged that Samsung for this LG (got some money back cause this fridge is cheaper) and absolutely love our new fridge, Its much quiter, spacier (ice maker on door) still has that adjustable temperature that samsung had but the door is in the fridge so you dont forget about it, Lg has 3 crispers vice Samsung's 2. Only drawback for LG is if you use a lot of ice. The icemaker on the door is slow to make ice but it makes up for itself with the extra room in the fridge, has an ice bucket in freezer, and has an ice plus pushbutton feature. I wish the door alarm was set a little longer before it alarms. went from a side by side to this freezer in the bottom thing and it makes sense to me. We have a lot of condiments and with ice maker on the door, you still have plenty of door shelf space but dont count on keeping milk on the door. Luckily theres that sliding shelf that you can rest milk on in the fridge. the ice/water is sooo much better and fits many more bottles than Samsung did Last thing ill say about that samsung fridge i bought: they called me up a couple of days ago. Must not of known that I returned their fridge. They said that since I had a service call so early on the would offer me a 5 year warranty. I thought that was great of them... Until they tried charging me for it, I said I switched to the LG, am a million times happier and hung up.

Our old refrigerator was a Samsung side-by-side. We had persistent issues with the ice maker, and finally it got to be too much. We shopped around, and this LG appeared to be the ticket for our family. We bought it on sale ($800 off); without the sale, we probably would have gone a different direction. It has wonderful style and utility. The size is great, and is enhanced by the easy access to all areas. Lighting is wonderful, and it is extremely quiet. Love the internal drawers in the freezer, and it's great to have a great ice maker and water dispenser. Controls are relatively simple for such a sophisticated refrigerator. Overall, it's been a great purchase so far, but do wait for a sale!

Saw this LG in the best buy store. i Loved the lights inside of it. It really brightens the entire inside. I like that I can open either the right of left refrigerator door if I want instead of having to open both. My husband loves the shelves in the doors. They are big and can handle two gallon containers of milk or juice on each of the two shelves. I like the freezer on the bottom. The two drawers make it easier to store and find things rather then just throwing everything in one big bin. I was able to buy 2 big turkey and put them in the freezer along with other frozen stuff and I still had plenty of room for more stuff. The freezer is big! We use a lot of ice and water in this family and the ice maker has done a great job of keeping us in ice. I like the design of the ice and water dispenser. There is plenty of room to dispense ice into a pitcher and there is never a mistake of getting ice when you meant to get water since they are in different places. The exterior does show fingerprints. I have to wipe it down every day. I love that it has a child lock on it. Otherwise my grandson would be playing with the ice and water. Best buy lowered the price on the refrigerator $400 a month after we bought it. I took the online ad to the store along with my receipt and they promptly credited the difference to my credit card. Love that they price match!!! In all, I am very happy with the new refrigerator.

I was hesitant to purchase an LG, on some forums people were complaining on how noisy they are and when I thinking about spending this amount of money it really need to be almost perfect. In choosing this refrigerator the location of the water dispenser had to be situated so that you could fill a big pitcher with water. In the past we always had a Pur water dispenser on the counter next to the refrigerator to fill large items. In our new house I didn't want anything else on the counter. Thus the importance of the water dispenser. Well this refrigerator fits the bill, we have only had it for 30 days now but are really loving it. It is huge and very easy to find things we had a side by side and would find things weeks later, so far that has not been a problem. Must mention that I have not had a problem with this refrigerator being noisy at all. If you want a large refrigerator I would purchase this one again.

My old side by side died right before Thanksgiving and it was the best thing ever! I got this on black Friday so the price was good. And we hosted Christmas this year so with 15 people here the timing was perfect. The size is amazing, I got tons of food in it including my 27 lb turkey. Loved the fact the ice maker was in the door but wasn't sure if there would be enough ice so filled the ice bin that is supplied. Never needed it, ice was never an issue. The lighting is great, love the 3 drawers in the freezer. And like another reviewer said it fit perfect in the space where my old smaller side by side was. Beautiful fridge.

Best and biggest fridge ever! Replaced 2 older fridges and a chest freezer with this one. The exterior dimensions are almost the same as the 25 cu.ft. GE model I had in the kitchen. No problem with the amount of ice on most days. If I expect to use extra, I plan ahead and put some in the ice bin provided. Very well lit, and easy to view all shelves front to back. Got it on sale, received another couple hundred credit for a 2 week delay, plus a $125 trade-in energy recycle bounty rebate! All together with free shipping and delivery, paid less than $2,000! Ordered it online and also got the promotional financing with my BB card: 2 years no interest.

So, our 5 year old Kitchen Aid, suddenly had several problems, and, since its out of warranty, and the repairs are costly, it was time to look at new fridges; we had a side by side, and didn't think we had room for a French door, but, after checking them out, it became apparent that the new French door models, don't require much more room than our side by side, so we narrowed it down to a Samsung and this LG. We decided on the LG, since you did not lose any room with the in fridge icemaker that hinders the Samsung, plus we like the way the LG shelves and layout looked better than the Samsung. We've only had it for a week, but, we have had none of the issues that others seem to be experiencing; it took 2 hours for the ice to start dropping, and we have 3 people in our house, and 2 of them use ice all day, and this fridge has no problems making enough for us. Yes, if you have a big party, you will need to buy a bag or 2 of ice, but, that would be the case with most refrigerators. Its whisper quiet, it looks fantastic, and it only takes up 2 more inches of depth than our counter depth Kitchen Aid used! 3 shelves in the freezer, so its super easy to organize, tons of room on the shelves in the fridge, and the built in air cleaner, along with a awesum water/ice dispensing setup, that allows you to easily fill any pitcher, cooking pan, or dog bowl easily, makes this an all around winner. Best buy had the lowest price, and, we purchased the 5 year warranty, so, we should be fine. A BIG advantage that LG has over every one else is they use a LINEAR compressor, and it comes with a 10 year warranty..If you know anything about compressors, you know how much better a linear one is over a conventional one.. If you need a large, easy to fit, modern refrigerator, this is the one for you!

This Refrigerator has everything, the space is amazing no noise at all the only time you hear anything is when the ice falls into the ice tray. I'm not sure why people are saying the ice maker is a problem its really not that small and makes ice fast if you use the ice plus feature. The ice tray inside the freezer holds about four or five loads of ice it should be filled and left untouched incase you have a party. This unit is so well lit it's a pleasure just opening the doors. if you are a neat freak there is a separate space for everything. The freezer has plenty of room with it's 4 bins they can hold all your freezer needs and more
