We are in the process of replacing old "builder model" appliances with new stainless steel appliances. We had planned on getting a dishwasher first, but found this refrigerator on sale. Decided to go ahead and make the purchase then. It has tons of space for food, especially helpful with two teenage boys in the house. I love having the space for extra large trays. I had a side-by-side and said they were the best refrigerators, but after having this refrigerator, I will never go back to that again. The different setup of shelves and door holders is another plus. Even though the freezer is on the bottom, it is not inconvenient getting items out. Unlike a side-by-side, all my food items fit in the freezer without having to turn sideways or remove from the boxes. Having the ability to set the temperatures on the door with a touch of a button is wonderful! I love the alarm, knowing how long the doors have been opened. I would buy this refrigerator again if I had the chance.

I have had this for a week and love it. The freezer is slightly larger than my previous side by side but seems to hold more, certainly pizza boxes more easily fit. The fridge is awesome...it is so large that I more room than before. The ice bin is smaller ...about 2/3 the size of my last, but there is a storage bin the freezer for extra ice. I haven't ran out of ice from ice maker yet and my family uses a lot. So far so great

Humongous. So great for a large family you would think. Too bad the through the door ice bucket is TINY, less than half the size of a typical fridge designed in the US. Look elsewhere if you or your kids use a lot of ice. If that's not important: then this is a fantastic fridge to get. It's spacious, quiet, beautiful, functional.

This refrig has to be by far the best one on the market today; you get what you pay for and so very much more! The room is unbelieveable in both the refrig and then the freezer compartments. You want cold milk, okay, but it you want nice cold milk that tastes great then this is for you. Want fresh lunch meat without empting the frig out, you need a bigger self for her flowers and the bottle of wine, this one is for you. We have had 3 different frigs in 5 years and this is the first one that my wife and I can actually say without a doubt... We love it! Thanks to our sales girl for recommending it to us!

I am very pleased with the refrigerator. There is so much space that I have a hard time filling up the shelves. The crisper drawers keep my produce well past their expiration dates, and keep them in excellent condition. All foods in the particular areas stay very fresh. My only complaint with the refrigerator is that it does not produce ice quick enough for our family. We make use of the bin in the bottom of the freezer, however, we have had to buy bags of ice in order to satisfy our needs for cubed ice. Other than that, it is definitely the best refrigerator I have had in years.

We previously had a LG French Door refrigerator, but left it when we sold our house. When we bought a home in NC, we purchased an Electrolux. We bought into the hype that Electrolux produced superior products. Wrong. In the ten months we had it, it required four new mother boards to fix the ice maker which never did work. Electrolux gave us credit for the purchase price we paid. We used that to purchase the LG. We have had it less than a month, but it has performed as expected. The ice maker works. We are pleased with the product and the installation service was outstanding.

I looked at and drooled over this appliance for months before making the plunge, so glad we brought it.. Did not fit allotted space so required a mini kitchen remodel. But worth it!!! We entertain alot, have never had ice shortage. I just planned ahead made extra in advance and filled bin provided. We have had it for 8 months now. without any issues at all ! Just NOW needing a new water filter found those a little pricey. But love love love it call it my HALLELUJAH FRIDGE!! (because of the LED lights.) You will not regret getting this appliance.

This style refrigerator is great to live with but the shelf configuration is taking some time to get used to. The light inside both compartments is really bright and having the freezer on the bottom is working out well. The many storage compartments and drawers are very handy. The delivery was on time and well done. We were set up and the old machine hauled away in no time. Glad we purchased this refrigerator.

I found the identical refridgerator at HOmeDepot for $500 more. My family loves this fridge. I'm not disappointed, at all, with this purchase. The guys that delivered it were especially friendly.

Normally I wait for awhile before reporting, but I wanted to get this in quickly to help other buyers. The specs say the unit is 35-3/4 inches wide but it's larger as the unit 'bulges' out on the sides, so it didn't fit at first. We originally got a floor model, but after the unit delivered with new scratches on the front from mishandling at the warehouse, I sent it back, and we negotiated for a new unit. This is of course a whole different issue, and it's not the fridge's fault... But all the floor models have dents/scratches/gouges on the side (a dead givaway of a tight fit). When we built our kitchen, we had a 36" wide refrig box added to prevent things dropping down the sides of the fridge from the counter. So according to the manual it should have been wide enough to fit. Luckily I had room on the trim so I was able to cut out the opening a little to get the unit in, but others may not have this luxury, so PLEASE check the measurements in your kitchen before purchase. One advantage if you have a kitchen with limited opening of the doors, there is a space at the bottom of each door inside that allows the bottom tray of the fridge to pull out even with the doors only open 90 degrees. No french door fridge has this feature! Will wait to see how the icemaker holds up, but based on the data in hand, yes I'd recommend this unit (just measure...)

So far, so good. Bought it, went on sale within 30 days. Price warranty service was fantastic, quick and easy. Thank you Best Buy... I was amazed. The ice maker in the door is one of my favorite features. Also, keeps up with ice demands with no problem. It creates a much more user friendly interior. Freezer is plenty large, love the pizza drawer. All in all, I could not be happier and show it off every chance I get.

We have had our refrigerator for 3 months and really enjoy it. It has a lot of storage. It also has a lot of lighting. We also like the ice and water on the door, which has room to fill any sized container. Water fills a little slow, but that may be our water pressure.

Spent a lot of time researching prior to purchase. I love the ice maker in the door and the adjustable shelves. The noise from the fan in the freezer is terrible. About once a week, the whole freezer needs to be disassembled to get to the fan, which makes a terrible noise. The drawers are a pain to disassemble and put back. I'm glad our house has a lot of square footage to escape the noise. I feel I spent too much money for a product that is such a hassle

Thiis is the best refridgerator we have ever owned. Everything works great and it has a tremendous amount of room. The water and ice maker are very nice and we have had no shortage of ice. If you want a big fridge this is the one to get.

I love this fridge. the water & ice are very quiet, & there is plenty of room. We have a family of four adults & haven't run out of ice yet. I do think the levers for the veggie bins should be level with the shelf & not stick up.

We had the 26.5 model and loved it. Built a new house and decided to go for the bigger model. Fits into normal space for a fridge but so much more space. The larger unit only sticks out roughly 2" more than the smaller. We LOVE it!

after reading so many negative reviews on this machine as well as all french door machines in general i decided to give it a try. i only have it since june, '14 but it has worked flawlessly since i plugged it in. i have no problem with the ice maker as so many reviews say they have. it makes a full bucket of ice overnight and that is more than enough for us. no need to get into what this machine does well as it well documented here. it seems that from reading all the negative reviews the majority of complaints come from machines that were put into service around 2012. maybe lg fixed whatever glitches that were inherent in this fridge around that time. i'll see how it serves me in the future but for now i consider this to be a great fridge.

We are happy with our new LG refrigerator. It is very roomy, and is set up well. We can now see just what is in the refrigerator. We particularly like the drawer set-up, with easy access and viewability. The ice maker seemed a little slow at first, but now is fine. We regularly dump the full bin into the storage container below, and we have plenty of ice for most ocassions. The lighting on this unit is superb.

Not sure if the Smart Cooling Plus system technology is what is doing it, but my food is definitely staying fresher longer!!! The water premium filtration system is fantastic! The only slight drawback is the way the water is dispensed. The first time people use the water dispenser the water, 9 times out of 10, ends up on the floor. But overall this is an in creditable refrigerator!

This unit actually fits better than the previous side by side unit but has provided more storage. Motor operates quietly, and the interior lighting is great. The appliance has a great exterior appearance.
