It turns out there is class action lawsuit was filed for LG compressors. I do not recommend buying it unless you feel lucky

Nice refrigerator

Seems to be working fine so far, haven't had it that long. Very quiet. Not fingerprint resistant, however, easy to wipe off any prints I get on it. So far I am happy with it.

Great As A Second

It is also the refrigerator that we have in the garage. It holds all the overflow that we can't fit in our kitchen refrigerator. The outside is sleek and it's well-lit on the inside. It also runs very quietly. The temperatures are holding steady in both compartments which are set at 3. By no means is this a top of the line model but we are only using it as a second refrigerator. So far we are very pleased with it. This is the 4th LG appliance we have purchased in 5 years, the first was an over the range microwave and next a washer and dryer. They all work great and we are happy with them.
I would recommend this to a friend DOES NOT GET COLD!

Problem with defrost
