Solid fridge. Large freezer, decent fridge layout. Installation service offering sub-par. Installation service personnel were professional and friendly. Installation service offerings were lousy. 1) doors had to come off in order to get it through the small door into the room the fridge was being used in. But door swing was on the wrong side, but because I didn't "pay" for changing the door--I had to do it myself. The doors already had to come off!! Bad for best buy to not make that an option for me to select from, as I would have had no problem selecting and paying for that "extra service" when I placed my order. 2) no hookup of ice maker. I had an ice maker ready for install, but given that there was no option to "pay" for that installation service, I get to do it myself.

Runs smooth and quiet purrs like a kitten. This is our backup fridge for overflow and storage. I have been using it for a month or more, and I’m happy so far. We could have spent twice as much for a freezer on the bottom model or a French door type, but I’m happy with this one and glad I bought it. The energy star certification was the deciding factor over other brands at the Sam cost level.

I'm still not quite happy with the coldness of the refrigerator section I have it all the way up and it's not what I'd like particularly for beverages. The freezer part is fine. Something that I thought was bad customer service was that the door alignment didn't come with the installation. You had to pay an extra $70 bucks and schedule if you needed the door to open on the other side. This really seems ridiculous as depending on the layout of your kitchen, the door might need to open left OR right. You shouldn't have to pay extra to have the correct side opening. Its a very basic set up which is what I wanted in terms of the interior and I'm fine with that, but depending on what you need, it might not suit you. But the main thing for me is that I'd like the fridge part to get much colder.

If you need a simple fridge, not a lot of bells and unnecessary whistles, but efficient, with ample storage, and elegant, this is the refrigerator for you. Cooking is my passion. With the role that cooking plays in my life, I need a fridge that matches my care for food. Long story short, I could not be happier with my new purchase.
