I appreciate the honesty of the employee at the store.

It’s been a very good refrigerator for me. If you’re looking for a affordable refrigerator without all the bells and whistles this model would be a great choice.

The LG has a larger freezer in the top and the refrigerator space is actually larger than the double door refrigerator because it’s deeper. It’s handle less so it looks sleek.

The rattle can vary depending on the load on the compressor. It is very annoying. I am told by LG customer service this is a normal charastic of the unit. In fairness, the rattle is getting diminishing as the unit wears in. The other issue is that LG in their infinite wisdom has determined this unit does not need a light in the freezer compartment. I was so sure it did that I had a service man come out to repair the light. He shined a flashlight around and found no light. How cheap can LG be?
