Slow to Start Up but Better Color

Getting past this point, the sound and picture are both excellent. I'm sure there must be a way to shut it up on startup and shutdown but I have not spent the time with the manual to find out how. For the price, this is otherwise an excellent value!

She loves her new television and hopes she can show it off one day (lol). Her previous TV started dying on her, the picture would sometimes be so distorted, it was hard to look at! Now, it's clear as day, the color is beautiful and the sound is perfect for me, for mom - it needs to go way up!

He has had difficulty with the size of the controls and a delay between when he presses the control and when the TV responds. The controller buttons are small and difficult for him to manage. The picture is sharp & the colors are balanced. The sounds of the shows don't play at a high volume. A big issue- when the TV is turned on or off a VERY LOUD voice says the TV is shutting down or turning on. There is a 5 to 7-second delay before the TV turns off or on. The delay has confused & frustrated my old gentleman as he has tried to navigate the controls. He has decided to watch only one channel to avoid the loud voice & the delays between the time he presses the channel button or on/off.

Great picture right out of the box-- not bright flashy blinding colors like other TV's I have owned. I wear contact lens & have some photosensitivity to bright lights & normally I have to spend an hour fine tuning a TV to a darker display, but not this time.
