Quiet. Solid appliance. Good Capacity. Looks nice. Ice Maker can be a little louder than one may expect but that only happens when replenishing. Has not happened while sleeping. Fridge door seals so tight it can be hard to open.

So far my new fridge works perfect! Lots of space and keeps things nice and cool. Also like the dinging noise it make it the fridge or freezer is not closed all the way.

Pros I love the generous capacity and well-organized interior of the refrigerator. Bottom-Freezer is great. having the benefit and convenience of not having to bend down for frequently accessed items, with the freezer on the bottom. Great light features. The sleek exterior, especially the stainless steel finish. A helpful door-ajar chime prevents items from being left open too long. Cons I noted the door are kind thicker than other models.

I bought this on sale to replace a 27 year old bottom freezer Amana refrigerator (which still worked but was pretty beat up). The pull-out bottom freezer allows for much more convenient access than the swing-open door of the older refrigerator. I considered French door models, which tend to be more expensive. They require more overall gasket length due to the center split (which IMO is a potential maintenance and energy efficiency issue). Plus, the double doors apparently can have alignment and leveling issues. I considered a Maytag bottom-freezer model but it was not available when I wanted it. All things being equal (or nearly so) I'd have preferred to buy an appliance made (mostly) in USA. I'm not sure where the LGs and their parts are sourced/assembled. Korea? Installation: Due to Covid-19 concerns, I instructed the delivery crew to let me remove the protective tape and plastic film. I did not realize what I was in for. It took about an hour to peel it all off. Plastic clips (or something like that) would have made things easier. I did not opt for automatic ice maker hook-up. I use ice cube trays (to save space, reduce noise, and eliminate the chance of a leaky water supply). The installers did not level it. Following instructions taped to the door, I tried turning the leveling legs with a flat blade screwdriver. However, the slotted leveling knobs are plastic, so a screwdriver easily bends the slots. More detailed instructions call for an open end wrench, but for that you may need an inexpensive custom LG wrench (or something equally slim). I've ordered one from Amazon. Really, it should have been included. Meanwhile, until properly leveled, the doors won't swing shut automatically. Interior Shelving: It seems sturdy enough and is supposed to be "spill proof". The adjustability is fairly limited. Most shelves are full width, so you cannot stagger them at different levels to accommodate items of different heights. Single, full width shelves may be a little easier to wipe down inside, but will be harder to remove and fit in a sink for thorough cleaning. For some families, a half width deli drawer may be more desirable than the full width deli drawer at the bottom. A smaller deli drawer, placed higher up, might have allowed for deeper fruit and vegetable bins (which are not all that big for a refrigerator of this size). Exterior: The stainless steel really does seem to resist finger prints. Fridge magnets do stick both to the sides and the front. Yay! The doors are easy enough to open and shut (they don't require a firm yank as some new refrigerators do). There is no removable dust cover/grill at the very bottom. Good, because it allows for easier access to vacuum. Bad, because it will let in more dust (along with cat toys, fridge magnets, etc.) Cooling: After about 18 hours, the refrigerator still has not reached a consistent 37 degree set point. A review of a similar model (on CNET I think) notes that cooling performance is not as good as similar models in prior years. Maybe it will hit the recommended 37 after adding more food and cranking it down to, say, 35. Noise: Consumer Reports gave a similar model an Excellent score for noise. So far, it does not seem to be quieter than the 27 year old unit it replaced. It is not really louder overall, but has a higher pitched hum that is a little more annoying up close. Bottom line: This seems to be one of the better options among bottom freezer models at this size and price point. Could be better though.

Nice refrigerator with modern controls and good size. Needed one to fit in an old school location and couldn’t have French doors. This is the nicest one we could find

We’ve had the LG 26 Cu. Ft. Bottom-Freezer Refrigerator with Ice Maker in our kitchen for a month now and we are very pleased with it. This refrigerator is HUGE. Perfect for my family of four. We love the convenient see-through grab-and-go refrigerated drawer. We use it to store lunch meats and cheeses for quick access. The bottom freezer is very spacious. The ice maker works perfectly and we have not yet ran out of ice! This is not a “smart” device, however you can use your phone to receive diagnostic information about the unit on your phone. The refrigerator and freezer temperature controls are very easy to use and the temperature appears to be consistent throughout the unit’s spacious interior. I’d recommend this refrigerator for households of four or more. You will never run out of cold storage space!

I really love this fridge. It’s so large and well lit. We didn’t want one with water dispenser due to not wanting to drink the water in our area so this is perfect. The freezer is spacious and has a removable divider which is convenient. The shelves in the fridge are a little difficult to move but once you figure it out, they are ok. It’s the perfect size for our hard to fit opening in our kitchen. Now we just have to get our door handle reversed.

Wow! This smaller fridge (33 inches wide) is really spacious inside! Very good capacity, in both fridge and bottom freezer and on top of that, it is really good looking. The ice maker inside produces a great amount of ice and the temperature setting seems to be perfect. I’m very happy with this purchase….it’s only been about a month or so since purchase, so wishing for continued success with this one.

Super happy with this refrigerator. It is very roomy and has lots of shelves in the door. Freezer is good size and has seperate pull out shelf where ice drops from ice maker.Plus it looks very good-love the stainless steel-very few (almost none)finger prints.

Keep in mind I’ve had the fridge for less than two months so I can’t speak to any reliability or durability issues. That said, I’m really happy with my choice. I really like the shallow meat and cheese pull out tray in addition to the fruit and veg draws. The shelves and drawers on this model are sturdy and feel very durable. (My sister has a different lg model where the plastic is thinner and cracked). I am also really pleased with the pullout section of the freezer with the ice maker on the left side and a huge flat area on the right that can easily store big frozen pizzas. The icemaker has a huge bucket so it’s noisy when the ice drops but other people told me this is common and I just keep it off most of the time. This was one of the few large fridges I could find without double doors and or water dispenser, and I felt strongly about single door and no water dispenser. I also needed dual option for which side it opens. This fridge checked all my boxes snd so far is working beautifully.

Great Refrigerator. It's everything we needed. Very well lit, Very roomy, lots of drawer space. It's a treat to use this compared to our old side by side. There is one thing though. That deep chest freezer drawer is hard to get to the bottom to find what you are looking for. The drawer in the freezer really helps. I choose this model because of the closed floor of the freezer, so cold air does not flow downward and waste energy.

I struggled finding a refrigerator that would fit in the odd niche in my kitchen but this worked perfect and I can finally open up the entire door. Very spacious and has a great ice maker. No water dispenser but I don't need one. My installers forgot to turn on the water for the ice so make sure that is done before they walk away. Would buy again.

We have had our LG refrigerator for 1 month and are really enjoying all the space! The frig came with a dent in the handle and, although it took several phone calls, we were provided with a replacement quickly. The only two downsides to this frig are: 1) You cannot see the actual temperature in the frig and freezer - only the set temp. 2) The shelves are not split in the frig, so the entire shelf needs to be moved up or down to accommodate larger items. Overall, this has not been an issue as we've been able to put taller items in the door (including milk) where the shelves are deep and provide ample room. Overall, we are happy with our purchase.

I absolutely LOVE this refrigerator!! It’s so spacious and the door holds 2 kinds milk and tea and soda bottle. Every space has been used. I even use a turntable on a shelf so I don’t loos anything in the back. The ice maker is fast and love it!!! But it’s!!!

I bought this refrigerator for my mother and she loves it. It is spacious and easy to use, not overwhelming her with "smart" features and reasonably priced. It looks great in her kitchen. Sleek and simple.
