But the default values make for a fine image. The only thing that was missing for me was control of brightness, which I've handled with this script I've named "bright": #!/bin/bash xrandr --output HDMI-1 --brightness ${1} Thus "bright .9" for instance sets it at 9/10ths, and "bright 0" blanks the monitor.

If you need to code and see in real time, this is great for you. If you need to have multiple windows at the same time this will work great for you. if you want to read your email while watching YouTube and check your Crypto coins movements while buying in a separate screen this is the one for you. All around fully recommended it, if you can get the same but curve even better!

Decent with the right setup

Picture quality very good on video but blurry on applications. Will end up getting a large wall mounted TV and connect wirelessly. This actually is too large for sitting in front of me on a desk, but because it is only a display and requires an HDMI cable, I will change for a TV instead (for not that much more in price). This is just my situation and another office setup may be more suitable for this product. Not sure if the value is worth the price.

The first one was for my wife to replace two monitors —- she loves it! The latest screen is for me, my 27” died after 5 years. The screen space is amazing—-perfect for productivity and for entertainment. My wife has had hers for 2 years now and hasn’t had any problems. I’ve had mine for about 3 weeks now and so far have no complaints. My only thought is that it would have been nice to have a vga option as well as the 2 hdmi ports (for an older desktop that I have)

LG Ultrawide

Make sure you download he necessary app from LG to be able to do split screen. I would not recommend this monitor for gaming as the graphics are not that good. It works for surfing the internet and doing work related tasks.

Just unboxed and plugged in to work. It's been 3 months and I'm very happy with it - wide enough for 3 apps open across, no distortion or need to turn head like with separate monitors. Crisp colors and images, great power save function that shuts off in seconds when I power down my Mac. Highly recommend

I’ve had it for a couple years now I’ve had no issues. When my MacBook screen broke i connected it to my desktop until i could get it fixed. If you have an adapted you can connect Apple products.
