Could not believe what the delivery people did to it...

Delivery and set-up of this refrigerator was timely and carefully done, but the refrigerator developed a loud vibration noise after two days. It took some convincing on the phone, but LG scheduled a tech visit to our home to investigate. The tech noticed a stabilizer (one of the "feet" that is used primarily to level the unit) that would not deploy correctly and advised us that the stabilizers had a role in noise control He also noticed that the stabilizer could have been bent in shipping or on installation, in which case repair might not be possible and would not be covered by LG under warranty. Fortunately, Best Buy offered to swap the unit out for a new one, since the noise developed only two days after the unit was delivered. Unfortunately, they were out of stock on this unit and a new one could not be ordered for some time. Best Buy agreed to hold open their offer to swap ours out for as long as it took to get a new one. Although we had been feeling uncomfortable in light of our experience, we felt more comfortable now. If the LG tech could not fix our refrigerator, we'd simply request that Best Buy swap it out with a new one, and we'd keep the unit we had until a new one came in. If the LG tech could fix it, we'd advise Best Buy that we didn't need a new one. Fortunately for us, the LG tech was able to fix the unit (he observed a true manufacturing defect) and make it very quiet. We believe our experience was especially satisfying since it not only illustrated the quality of the buying and delivery experience, but also how effectively Best Buy and LG dealt with a problem when it developed. We're happy to recommend this product.

So happy with our new refrigerator. Lots of room as I am always at the grocery store. The double freezer is awesome easy to find items without digging in a one drawer freezer. Looks beautiful easy to clean. So much more room than a side by side

Really liking our new fridge with the double freezer and french doors. capacity is great and the look is fantastic

We've had this fridge for just over 5 years. For the first 2 years it was great. We loved the design, ample space, etc. Our only initial issue was that the water tank that held cold water was very small. So, unless your water line shoots out ice cold water from the jump, expect to have room temp water after you fill one glass. After 2 years that tiny water tank inside the fridge broke and leaked water into the entire bottom of the fridge and into the freezer every time you tried to fill a glass. Couldn't get anyone to fix it because most appliance repair places won't work on LG. So, I had to DIY the repair. I was able to find the part on Amazon for not too much, disassembled the door to get to the water tank and made the repair. The part isn't exact though, so I also had to make some little alterations to the inside in order to get the door back together. Buying the part directly from LG would have cost hundreds of dollars though. A few months ago I started noticing the water dispenser would leak every now and then. Not a lot, but enough to notice. Then a month ago there was water seemingly pouring out of the dispenser on its own. After some troubleshooting I discovered the water was coming from the ice maker because it stopped freezing ice. There was no way I was DIYing an ice maker repair, so I said forget it, we'll live without ice. Come to find out, that was actually the first sign the entire fridge compressor was going bad. Not long after that the entire freezer stopped working and then a day later the main fridge compartment was room temp. Can't replace a compressor for less than $1500 plus labor, so after a short and not so fun run we'll be buying a new fridge. And it definitely won't be an LG.

Fridge is fabulous. Lots of room. Nice design of shelves for easy access.

We love this refrigerator. The shelves are big and everything fits where we need it. The two drawer freezer allows for different shapes of things. We also love the shape of the ice cubes.

We purchased this fridge in 2018 because of its features and loved it until Nov 2024 when the compressor failed. Apparently, this is a known issue & LG has faced class action suits about it but has not elected to be proactive, instead forcing customers to pay $700-800 for labor to install a new compressor in addition to a new freon filter which is required when new compressor installed. According to our amazing repairman, all that had to be done to avoid the compressor failure is a simple software update! Again, LG has chosen NOT to inform customers of this simple proactive action. Also of note is that most repair companies are refusing to service LG appliances due to how difficult it is to deal with the company.

I used to sell fridges at Best Buy over 15 years ago, this fridge is very well designed and is super spacious for the price point. We weren't even shopping for fridges but had to buy this one when we saw it.

Good performance , looks good, very quiet. Very good ice machine.

Love the fridge. Size is perfect, look is perfect. Now I don't know about reliability yet but I traded in a perfect whirlpool of 15 years for it. If this works as good as my last one I'll be thrilled. But so far this fridge meets and exceeded my expectations.

Our 25 yr old side by side just died, YES it lasted 25 years but it was a poor use of space in my opinion. Wanted a counter depth but price and size of interior bins turned me away from them. BEST FEATURE on LMSX 28626S is LG PrintProof(tm) finish. NO FINGERPRINTS! We chose stainless, not Black Stainless. My sister said I would hate stainless because of the fingerprints but this special finish is great so far. Note, not all LG stainless appliances have this finish from what I could tell. I shopped ALL the stores, Best Buy matched a special price for me, had shortest wait time for delivery, had most economical extended warrantee AND 18 months no interest. Can't beat that! This fridge has so much space, just have to get used to a 4 door vs side by side is all. Ice maker is great so far, only 2 of us, smaller size cubes but it's in the door not taking up big area on interior of fridge. We especially like the two freezer drawer feature, less bending down for frequently used items, capacity, flexibility and price. We really liked LG door in door feature BUT couldn't find it with the DOUBLE FREEZER drawer feature, only a flex drawer which does not hard freeze. If LG had a model with both, I probably would have purchased it, depending on price. Husband getting used to having to open two doors to access the glide and serve drawer inside fridge, this is different from a side by side so an adjustment. It's a big refrigerator, so wanting a counter depth originally, it looked like a monster the first day. Have to say, I'm getting used to it being so deep. So far...very good purchase. Great delivery, the two guys did a great, CAREFUL, job.

Love it! Spacious and has 2 bottom freezer drawers. Best buy outlet rocks!

Broke 3.5 years. Bought3 year warranty ran out in Jan fridge broke in Nov. LG playing games with fixing. It took days for them to get back to us, they canceled and now rescheduled 2 weeks out.

Like the fridge, still trying to identify if the water dispenser is slow due to my water pressure or fridge itself. The freezer storage is a bit awkward but has purpose. Find this out prior to purchasing. Aside from that, i do love the fridge and design. I am still very early in the purchase, so will need to verify quality in time to come.

Overall, the refrigerator is good so far. We'll see how long it lasts - not happy that modern refrigerators last about 7 yrs. Old ones lasted forever. Main gripe: not happy about how doors close: Right door has a 'catch' that you must push thru to close it. (the left door does not have it). The 2 freezer doors have tension that tends to close them so you must use one hand to hold the door open, leaving you with only 1 hand to go thru your freezer stuff. Very annoying! Also the freezer door tension does not completely close the freezer doors. It just pulls them to "almost closed"! So to me this behavior serves no purpose at all, except to make the freezer harder to use. Finally shelf adjustment is limited. My old LG had several levels of adjustment. This fridge has 4 total shelf heights for the 2 levels of shelves. That basically means each shelf level has only height adjustments.

Works great! Spacious and keeps the food fresh. Would buy LG again for sure.
