Nice monitor and good quality. I did not like the resolution though as it didn’t seem sharp enough and blurry. Ended up returning it.

    Image retention after 1 month

Not even a month after purchase, a ghost image got stuck on my screen and wouldn’t go away until I unplugged the monitor for an hour. The original image was visible for only a few minutes before the ghosting occurred, and others have reported similar issues on Reddit.

Thunderbolt 3 Failed after Warranty Expiration

The monitor in general was great for both business and gaming. The reason for two stars that the Thunderbolt 3 system stopped working 3 months after the warranty expired. The video signal keeps randomly switching back and forth between laptop and monitor. Tried different cables and different laptops but still did the same thing. I can no longer dock my work laptop which is the whole reason I invested in this expensive monitor.

This monitor has poor color quality and is extremely fidgety when it comes to Mac use. Do NOT buy this if you want to connect it up to your Mac. 1. It doesn't power on automatically sometimes. You have to turn the monitor on yourself by hitting the power button. 2. Oftentimes, even when it does come on, the screen takes about 10 seconds to show the Mac desktop. When the Mac M1 is on instantaneously, why does it take this monitor 10-15 seconds to show a screen?? 3. Volume buttons on Mac keyboard don't work with LG. You have to manually adjust using the bezel underneath the monitor. Are you kidding me? So many monitors I've owned have worked perfectly well with the Mac volume buttons. This is a simple feature fix. Come on. 4. Randomly, the monitor refresh rate will get out of sync and you can see the screen flickering. A reboot is required and sometimes that doesn't even resolve the problem.

Thunderbolt does not work with Macbook Pro

The Thunderbolt would not connect my Macbook Pro to the monitor. I installed all the latest firmware from lg.com. That caused both Thunderbolt and HDMI to not work. LG customer service was clueless. The only advice I got was to unplug and plug in the cable. Turn the computer on and off. Eyeroll. I paid for Geeksquad but could never get ahold of them. Bad experience all around.
