I’ve owned this sound bar for a year now, and I’ve dealt with it this entire time. I purchased it for $150 on sale, I see the normal price is $400. Let me explain why I believe it isn’t worth even 150. 1. The rear wireless speakers have a serious issue with disconnecting. My receiver is 10 feet from the sound bar and two rooms away from any wireless router and it is extremely choppy most of the time. Google this and you will see tons of the same reports. I’ve tried changing wireless band on my router, disabling all WiFi devices, nothing works. It makes watching anything very frustrating when the rear sound suddenly stops or is crackling. 2. The sound bar turns on/off whenever it wants. Thankfully it doesn’t turn off while something is playing (besides the rear speaker). Which brings me to my last point... 3. You cannot turn off Bluetooth. If you live in an apartment or have close neighbors then completely forget even considering this purchase. Bluetooth is ALWAYS broadcasting even if the sound bar is off. Anyone can connect to the sound bar at anytime (even when it is powered off! Let that sink in...) whether they’ve been paired or not previously. We’ve been woken up in the middle of the night because someone will connect to the sound bar and play music. It doesn’t matter if you turn off the sound bar, they can connect as long as the sound bar is plugged into power. So we’ve been unplugging the sound bar every night. There is no way to disable Bluetooth, I have searched high and low online and read through the manual. I would not recommend this to anyone. It is not worth the hassle. The only reason we purchased is for the rear speakers. I bought the protection plan for this reason so I’ll be swapping them out soon. I won’t be buying another sound bar with wireless rear speakers, I imagine others would have similar problems. If you don’t believe me, take the time to google these issues. I found similar problems and took a gamble thinking it was probably user error,but no, the product is awful.

So glad we chose to get this sound bar with the accompanying rear speakers. We didn't plan on going for surround sound, but the price was right and it sounds amazing!

Definitely an upgrade over my televisions speakers. Easy set up. Minimal wires, which is a plus. Would buy it again!

great sound bar for people with a tight budget like many have said its not true surround sound but its loud and fills the room great for gaming rooms or a basement

This surround sound is perfect for our living room. We recently purchase 75” tvddom Beat Buy and it’s just amazing. Just in time for March Madness.

I will say that this is probably the third best sound bar that I have personally purchased and used. The sound will surprise you with the slim bar having a tweeter and a "woofer" (loosely use that term) built into each of the sound bar's channels. The subwoofer is enough for a small to medium size room, but fades pretty quickly beyond 10'. The included back surrounds really can put out a decent amount of sound, just nothing in the low range. All of that being said... if you find this sound bar open box when its selling new for half MSRP or less, Buy it.

Free shipping to home was a good deal and reasonably quick for shipping to Hawaii. LG sound system works very well with new LG smart TV. Once set up, it works seamlessly with the TV without having to juggle multiple remotes all the time. Surround sound is excellent. Setup instructions could be much improved, with better and clearer diagrams. I did have to call LG customer support for help, but they responded quickly and were helpful. Sound for streaming video was weak before I had the sound bar system, but now it's great. Very happy with the purchase.
