18 months quit working. LG nor Best Buy would offer any discount or rebate on a replacement purchase. Extremely disappointed in the quality of LG Home Theater. Vizo is much more reliable. First and last purchase with a LG product.

Bought this and speakers blew within the first few days

My speakers are going in and out! After having it for a few weeks!

The unit sounds good but it can't be anywhere near a WiFi router. I spent 3 days adjusting channels and locations and it would drop the speed on my network to more than 1/2 of its normal speed no matter where it was.

Speakers have problems it will be loud for a second and then lower down and consistently does that it does not stay loud and also there is no display on sound bar to tell u ur volume do not recommend this product to anyone stay away

I have been in denial since I got the soundbar. The sound quality is only ok, but only while it works. The wireless rear and subwoofer randomly cut out. I am currently looking into returning it through the extended warranty.

The unit it self is pretty sturdy but the syncing on it... is terrible... it wouldn't sync with the sub correctly

Subwoofer cuts out every few seconds. Moving equipment around does help but even after moving router and modem it still drops in and out. Do not buy.

I was sent a item that was missing parts and it was not the same as described online very disappointed with this purchase

Not worth the cost or aggravation. Constant interference and audio drops.

The directions were vague. Called customer Sevice did not know product. Bakers are not loud enough. Do not buy it

Hello. I was able to get a 50% discount on this model because LG was running a special which Best Buy honored. I purchased it through Best Buy so I could use their interest-free card. For what this is used for (90% gaming by one person in a chair directly in front of the TV) it is ok. The surround sound features are good enough. What I didn't like is that even with the sound at full volume, you can talk over it. Not yell, but talk at a higher volume. The wattage rating is questionable. I tried all different settings and HDMI ARC cable versus the included optical cable. But since most of the time this OLED TV is used with really good headphones, this was just a quick add-on system. The other major complaint is the VERY limited display. It only includes a tiny red light which when solid on indicates the unit is off and in stand-by mode (power from the outlet is present). When the unit is on (which does work with either the soundbar remote or TV remote) the little red light goes out and a tiny white light come on letting you know what connector is activated (optical, HDMI, Bluetooth). That's it. So, if you select Bass Blast, or ASC, or Cinema, all you get is a momentary flash of the tiny red light acknowledging the receipt of your command (I guess) and that's it. There is nothing else on the display letting you know that your selection is chosen. So if you hit bass blast and happen to hear the sound level increase, you can guess that it is turned on. To turn it off you can hit other selections. For the price of a couple more tiny LEDs it would have been much better. Also when you are trying to get more volume, when you use the TV, you will see the volume increase on the screen. However, you can then also try to get more by pressing the volume increase button on the soundbar remote. If/when the tiny red light finally goes solid, that means the soundbar is at max volume. No other volume indicators are present. Since my sons use this primarily with one viewer at a time, and because they also primarily use their headphones, and because it helped keep the budget down, it will do. If I was using it primarily to watch movies, etc... with other people, I would have returned it. The display indicators could have been added/enhanced for very little extra cost.

This system is very good. You get crystal clear sound for a very small price tag. Set up was quick and easy, pairing the "wireless" components takes the most time to set up. Sound quality is very good. Now for the minor cons, out of the box the system doesn't support true surround sound. In order to get it to work you need to fiddle with your TV and Blu-Ray/DVD player settings. By default and for compatibility most components set their audio options to down mix any audio. You must set component audio to automatic or bit-stream to get true surround sound. Once I made those changes and played from a source Blu-Ray, DVD, etc. that had surround sound this thing shined. When playing sources with stereo sound it replicates the front audio on the rear channels. The subwoofer included has some oomph, watching movies like Rambo, Robocop, etc. I have been impressed with the subwoofer. Highly recommended for the price.

I was not expecting much when I bought this soundbar with wireless rear speakers and subwoofer. I normally research a lot before buying including seeing the item physically at a store but this time I didn't. I thought the price was good at half off and goes with the TV I got for "free" using my airline miles. The rear speakers are so tiny! And because of that the sound quality is lacking. Maybe if you never had a surround sound system (receiver and decent set of speakers) you might be happy. Luckily I had a pair of (12 pounds each!) Braun L300 speakers in the basement that just happen to match the 4 ohm impedance of the wireless rear receiver :-) I couldn't be happier. Despite the weight they are the size of typical bookshelf speakers and hide nicely behind the sofa in the LR, The wireless sub woofer fits nicely behind a wing chair and the soundbar under our new LG 55 inch 4K TV. The audio from this setup is pretty decent and can get quite loud, I don't get why some reviews say the sound is not loud enough. Even the original rears were loud if not of great quality. The initial setup was very easy and the wireless units paired to the soundbar without any hassle. I agree with the complaints that the soundbar has no screen to show what mode it is in. The worse is in my case the unit is connected to a late model compatible LG TV via the ARC input so if the programmers/engineers were smarter they would have the unit show "on screen" any commend you gave using the remote... So far I have not experienced the brief disconnects/reconnects that some say they have. I've only had the unit for a day... if it starts I will check into the firmware update that some have mentioned.

Wow! I'm pretty sure the girl who left the 3 Star rating didn't listen to this system before giving her review. More then well-worth what you pay! 425 watts of very clean sound. I have this system in a larger size room with with an 11 foot ceiling and I'm shocked at how good it sounds. Set-up is quick and easy. A MUST BUY for the price!

It's not bad, but it's not as they say, it's not completely wireless, and it does not have much volume as advertised, it says it has 420 watts and actually has about 200 max, I do not recommend it

One of the biggest props I'll give this system is the ability to raise the rear speaker volume separately from the front bar. I have a Samsung 1000W 5.1 system where the rear speakers are lacking a bit, and this "smaller system" sounds much better, at least in the rear speakers department. You really feel the sound coming at you from every corner.
