The picture is great on this TV and for the price, it works well in the family room or bedroom if you want an affordable HD TV that still delivers like the higher end models. The sound is good compared to other similarly priced models too. I haven't used the Smart tv feature yet but the interface looks easy to use.

Bought TV. For second home and I am very pleased with picture, features and price

This tv is quite the bargain considering the price and features that this TV has. My only problem with it is that I am not 100% satisfied with the picture. The presets that the tv has either produce an over saturated image or a washout. With some fine tuning, you get an image that is quite nice, but not as nice as compared to a samsung of comparable price (but the samsung is of a smaller size such as the UN40F6300)

Good looking design, slim and sleek. Easy to carry, pretty light. Easy to mount.

My boyfriend researched and bought an LG for himself years ago, so when it came time for me to buy a new TV, I had it in the back of my mind. Without looking at brands, I looked at all the TVs at Best Buy and honed in on the ones I thought looked best. This was #1. I had a Cyber Monday special price match when I purchased it, so it was an added bonus to getting a decently priced TV. If you have a smartphone, I suggest downloading the LG TV Remote app. It helps add ease as the touchscreen becomes a touchpad for the TV pointer and provides a mini-keyboard for browsing through smart apps.

This LG brand HDTV compares very favorably to other HDTV's that I have recently purchased (Vizio, Sony). Speakers are a little underpowered, but that's typical for HDTV's, and is easily remedied by addition of a sound bar. Picture quality is excellent and setup is easy! Excellent value given that I was able to purchase this TV during an after-Christmas sale.

There are a lot of features and picture quality is excellent for the money you pay for this LED-LCD. The wireless card in it was easy to configure and app interface is very easy to use. The built in browser is kind of cumbersome and would not recommend for your main internet browser.

I am still learning how all the functions work on the LG TV. We recently switched from Cable TV to OTA (free TV). Purchased a TiVo box with this LG TV. This made a lot more things to learn at one time. The LG TV picks up 78 channels just from OTA antenna. The picture is excellent!

This television is definitely a great value proposition! So many features and able to direct all tv functions including interactions with all smart features using my iPad or iPhone (LG Remote app also available for Android). Even surprised at the auto-detect of my LG-branded DVD/BluRay player. Just plugged in via HDMI and the TV prompted me to setup.

We are very happy with our new 42" HD smart TV. It was easy to set up on wifi and the picture is the best we have had.

I really like this set. Its bright,sharp and clear picture and true colors are beautiful, even in standard def. I wish I could download HBO GO and some other apps. Hopefully they will be added. Other than that this tv doesn't disappoint. Bought the logitec keyboard with mousepad and it makes the internet browser work just like a laptop. Great TV

We bought our tv for Christmas and so far have been very pleased with it. The capabilities of the smart features are great. Since we have not had it long, we are still exploring what all we can do with it. My husband especially likes that he can control the smart features with his tablet. It makes navigating the screen much easier.

i bought this b/c i needed new digital tuner, they cost 100 or more, so i figured i would get new tv w/ rewards and gift card. the sales rep was very good. bb did price match but had to go back 2-3 times to get it..sort of hard to set up if not tech savvy...the base was hard to screw in. picture great, good apps, good picture, good buy for the money, smart tv.

Bought this for my bedroom. Was on sale and cost less than the Samsung I was looking at. I have a Samsung in the living room. The picture beats my Samsung! Wishing I had purchased a LG for the living room now! !!

Really didn't want a SMART TV, but then once I got it, I liked it a lot. I started using it for my games and found it to have a lot of other features. I like the way it goes from tv to internet so easily. I also like all the apps that I can use on the tv without complications. Using this tv is like using a giant computer.

Easy to set up, fast processing and great picture.

If you just want to turn on the TV and watch it, this set may not be for you. Having to drill down into the menu and tweak the picture controls EVERY TIME you change a channel to select the optimal viewing experience, turning off the Tru Motion for movies and shows, then turning it back on for sporting events, just proved too much. Otherwise, shows and movies have that too-perfect, too flat, videotaped quality of soap operas. The 120 hz refresh rate is great, especially for gamers, but it should be A LOT easier to defeat for normal watching. This TV also dropped the internet signal repeatedly, requiring that I go through the awkward resubmission of my password via the on-screen "keyboard". Finally, you have to purchase an upgraded remote (sold separately) to access and control some features. Back in the box, back to BB. Bought a Samsung with 60 hz refresh rate, larger screen, still a Smart TV, for about the same price. Love it.

This is the first tv I have bought for myself and I love it. I haven't had any problems with it and I love all the features. There are a couple things that could be improved on software wise, but I think I'll keep this TV for a long time.

Believe the reviews. I read all the reviews here and on many other sites before narrowing my new TV choice down to this particular model. I went to my local Best Buy to buy this TV and, despite the Best Buy site's listing of this model being in stock at that moment at my local Best Buy, it was NOT in stock. I purchased the TV anyway and would return to pick it up when it had arrived at the store. It turns out that my TV arrived on the same day that a massive blizzard hit our town but I found a taxi driver with a decent SUV who was willing to brave the elements so I could pick up this new TV. It was worth the aggravation and endangerment to set up and enjoy this TV that much sooner. The assembly and set up was a breeze and quite quickly I had the TV hooked up with the LG Blu-ray player and the Yamaha sound bar that I had purchased when I paid for the TV. All 3 devices play well together and I had moved from worst to first in quality AV systems among my closest friends and relations.
