Beautiful TV for gaming. Some people say you need a monitor for fps gaming but with this there is no perceived latency. Best 120htz 4k experience gaming experience. Look for Best buy open box deals and this TV can be had for an awesome deal

Excellent picture and very good sound for this size television. It has most of the apps needed for streaming services. It wasn't as intuitive as other manufacturer's software for television and app setup. Setup is a little too involved for my preference.

The picture is superb. I had read that the sound could be better. The sound is fine, best I can tell. The remote could be better. On/off button only controls the TV. Cable box power is in a menu. Similarly, cable box DVR control is a bit kludgy. We settled on using 2 remotes - cable box for cable/tv; LG remote for internet.

this OLED is amazing and for the prize its undeniably a great purchase. I tried using for a monitor for work but I couldn't because of limited space. but as soon as I create more space somehow I will be at the store buying it. its clear and easy on the eyes and the color range is awesome. its thin and light and the sound is ore than enough.

I built a virtual pinball machine and this 42" gem is my playfield. Yeah, not a common use case but the features of this TV put on an absolute show for what I use it for. Below are two things that really make the TV stand out. Viewing angle can not be matched. The colors pop and stay popping from virtually every viewing angle. This is important in a pinball machine because the screen is essentially laying flat and you are looking at it on a decent angle. FPS/VSync - The pinball moves quickly around the playfield, while many images stay static the ball tracking is what keeps the immersion while playing. My FPS increased by 60% vs the prior screen (x85j). I do not use the TV to watch content but for my purposes the beautiful color (1400) nit brightness and gaming features make this a truly impressive purchase. Just make sure to get the right HDMI cord. I am able to use the full color spectrum at 12 bits, 120hz with no issues.

Excellent quality and pictures. I used to play on IPS and TP panel with higher refesh rates for competitive games. So when OLED monitors/TVs become popular for games, I gave it a tried, and tbh I never regret purchasing OLED products

The LG C2 absolutely delivers a premium experience i run a gaming YouTube channel I can honestly say that the upscaling this TV provides for older 1080p games is incredible. Both Xbox Series X and S can take advantage of 4k 120fps with Dolby vision enabled as well as full range 40 to 120hz VRR support and Low Framerate Compensation delivering a stable image. PS5 deep color looks incredible on this screen beautiful vibrant colors and top notch clarity very easy to setup. PC support is extremely good both Gsync and Freesync premium with the ability to set the screen to 21.9 or ultra wide 32.9 aspect ratios. This TV is clearly designed to bring gaming to life.

The size is perfect to place on your desk. Inky blacks, small input latency, high frame rate, all in 4k. That checks every box for me. Zero regrets. 48-in could be a bit bigger than what you're looking for, but you can't go wrong with 42

I use it as my computer monitor plus I play my PS5 and Xbox Series X on it. I also use the apps in the TV to watch Netflix, Amazon, HBO Max and so on and so on. It's on for 12 to 13 hours straight most days with not one problem in the 5 months since I had. Gaming is a dream on an oled and it's hard to describe but once you see it in action there's now going back. HDR on anything else is a joke in comparison. The lighting effects looks like light being that the pixels themselves light up. Once you see Thor call down lightning you will get what I mean. The only thing I would say is annoying was getting the HDR on the PS5 just right. But that's not the TVs fault, that's on Sony with the weird calibration they used. You can watch a video on a YouTube channel named HDTV test on how to set it up right. And stop the over blown hot spots you can get with the PS5. And once you do it looks beautiful. So with the price drops you can't go wrong because I don't regret it on bit and I paid way more.

Great picture and sound. Black looks great as with my other LG OLEDs. The sound improved though I use it with a receiver. It’s a perfect size for a smaller room. I’m very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend it.

Excellent OLED TV.. great for gaming, easy user interface and superb sound quality…I am using this as my computer monitor and gaming for my xbox and PlayStation 5. I am simply amazed with its quality and performance. Highly recommended.

A high end tv for a reasonable price. Works great watching Netflix/streaming. Works great with console gaming. Even has preset setup depending on what type of game I’m playing to help maximize FPS and visual fidelity!

Incredible panel for content consumption and gaming. The 120hz refresh rate is great for gamers and the OLED panel looks gorgeous in various games and movies. As long as you pay below $1000 for the 42" version I think you are getting a great deal. There are various settings you have to go through to adjust for a perfect PC experience but there are tutorials and guides all over the internet, anyone can set one of these up with ease. Cons: Risk of burn in (purchase the geeksquad warranty, its covered) Panel dimming: sometimes the panel dims while using the TV with a PC, this can be addressed in the settings and permanently turned off with a service remote (I don't recommend doing this as it will most likely void the manufacturer warranty and geeksquad warranty)

Never had an oled but im using this for my gaming set up. It looks wonderful for my ps5 but for my PC i still need to buy a hdmi 2.1. It can still run 4k for my PC but not 120 hz,at least with an older hdmi cable. The sound is a little tinny but its okay since i have headphones connected through the optical audio. 42in is just big enough to use for both regular watching and my pc. Any bigger and i think using my pc wouldnt be worth it. Definitely would pick this over a bigger tv that isnt oled.

If you are looking for a gaming TV/monitor this is the one. Good size for gaming, great picture quality without compromising gaming experience, 0 lag and very bright with rich colors

An excellent upgrade from my previous TV. Picture is an obvious upgrade from an IPS source. The sound is the biggest upgrade. Much fuller and not as "weak" if that makes sense. Gets plenty bright enough on both SDR and HDR content.

I upgraded from a 34 Inch Acer Predator X34 (1440p ultra wide 100mhz) I am almost speechless. This LG C2 42inch is shocking. Stunning really. I can't say enough about how beautiful the picture is, so I won't even try. Just buy it. The setup was fairly quick and easy. Install the stand, update the monitor and away you go. Two things to consider. If you are going PC, make sure you can pump this bad boy. I have a 4090 which basically turns this into a gamers dream. Legit dream. Also, Make sure you have the right HDMI for this. It needs to be a 2.1 cord and don't buy the cheap one. You have come this far and clearly want the best so step it up a bit to make sure you are getting the frames you paid for. Lastly, buy this fast before its gone. The C3 is rumored to not be much of an upgrade and will be a lot more money until next year. Move quick!

Hands down the best tv I have ever used. I use this as a gaming monitor for my pc and it has really changed everything. Smooth operation and wonderful colors. Blacks are unreal on this oled

I love this TV. I used this OLED 42 inch as a primary desktop monitor and I’ve had 0 complaints. I wish I would’ve made the change sooner. Now that the C3 is out of you ever wanted this tv would be the best time to get it.
