But it's incredibly frustrating because there is no way to permanently disable the auto dimming feature. Even though there are instructions to disable it, it isn't a complete fix. I use 3 42" televisions for a multi monitor system and when doing studies and research this screen constantly wants to dim down. I really wish I'd have known about this "feature" because I would have bought another item. The colors and brightness are very nice, there are lots of options and settings.

After mounting it on a monitor arm on my desk and adjusting a few settings, I must say it’s fantastic. I was concerned the panels WRGB pixel structure would cause issues with text rendering, but it does not. Text looks just as good as on my premium NEC QHD monitors. Keep HDR off (in Windows) when working, and switch it on if you want to do any gaming.
