I bought this TV to replace a previous LG set that I bought in 2010. It worked fine for 13 years, but lately the picture sometimes fades to black temporarily. I use the TV as a monitor for a computer that I bought strictly for streaming video. Besides YouTube TV, I also use a VPN to access foreign programming that is normally blocked outside the home countries. I need a computer for that. No "smart" TV has that flexibility. Therefore, I just want the HDMI from my computer to display on screen. I have absolutely no need for the built-in apps or any other "smart TV" features. That said, the setup was pure TORTURE. It just went on and on and on. Requiring my Wi-Fi log-in, ZIP code, etc. etc. And in the end, I could not figure out how to escape the app universe and select the HDMI input. A whole bunch of menus menus menus. But nowhere could I find the very basic option to choose the input. I've never owned a device that was so user-unfriendly. With my previous LG TV, this operation was dirt simple. Finally - just before I was about to take the TV back to the store - I looked over the instructions for the REMOTE, and that is where they have a button for choosing the input. So it was important enough to put on the remote. But whoever programmed the TV was so obsessed with their apps and channels, creating a kind of LG entertainment network, that they forgot to include it in the menus. If this is the trend, making devices overly complicated and more difficult to use, I doubt that I will ever buy another LG product in the future.

The picture for this OLED television is amazing at anytime of the day. It has AI features for video and audio which do enhance the experience but I am not certain what it is actually doing. Well worth the money despite being 1” smaller than competitors. Perfect for the space and purpose it was bought for.

Black scenes are show beautifully. 120 hz refresh rate.

Gorgeous! I got this discounted as an open box purchase (condition: excellent). The picture is so clear. The sound isn't too bad either without a soundbar. I will say, when I first got it, some of the pixels looked dead/muted, but after a pixel cleaning and a couple days the picture was perfect.

We really enjoy the picture quality, it is outstanding. The OS was very easy to integrate with our streaming services and over the air TiVo DVR. It allowed us to get rid of a extra TiVo Stream 4k which we had been using in this room when we wanted to watch something from a streaming service (one less remote).

Using the 42" as a gaming monitor for my PC. This thing is beautiful and a beast. Not going back to regular monitors anymore. Its like an ultrawide with more real-estate top and bottom.

Have used it only for gaming with my computer and Xbox. I am a firm believer in OLED gaming now. Was nervous about burn in and haven’t had it long enough to find out. So hopefully it doesn’t happen. I do know if this stops working i am differently staying OLED for gaming. I’m hooked lol. Picture is awesome.

Love the tv. I love how it still keeps the room dark but with the colors vibrant. I have sensitive eyes, so having a tv that has that level of dimness when the color black is being shown is fantastic. Doesn’t hurt my eyes after watching a movie and I’m able to fully enjoy using a tv.

Perfect size for gaming, productivity, and watching movies. I currently run this primarily as a PC monitor. The OLED panel is perfect. Glare can be a small issue as I have windows around my workspace however, if its too bright, i'll close the blinds. Because it has HDMI earc, i'm able to connect a soundbar while gaming. Highly recommend.

This is the best tv I have ever owned.this is the first oled tv I have ever owned.the picture is stunning.I have a lg 4k Blu-ray player hooked up to it and movies look incredible.I also have a ps5 hooked up to it and all I can say is wow.graphics amazing frame rate amazing.highly recommend

I bought the 42in version. For the money this is the best bang for buck OLED out there. It has a lot of goodies that you want like HDR, VRR support for current gen consoles, and of course a gorgeous OLED panel with excellent response times and colors. WebOS isn't perfect but gets rge job done. Worth every penny.

YES! YES! YES! I returned my LG C2 Evo 42 inch due to extreme flickering issues and LG over the phone wasnt very helpful. It was actually the worst Support conversation I have had in recent memory, the CS rep was yelling at me and calling me a liar. I returned it to Best Buy and bought a Monitor. This came out and I said, ok, One last chance, and if it dont work, I was done with LG for life. Zero issues and easily the best TV/monitor I ever had. Hope I dont have to use their support, because it was not friendly. But this TV works great!

I used to have a 48" C1 as my PC monitor and it became overwhelming for the size. Decided to upgrade to C3 and downsize to 42. Best thing I could have done. Picture quality is epic and the menu and everything just works perfectly. There is simply nothing else I would recommend more.

Amazing desktop monitor and game TV. I run my software development full time and text clarity in Linux is solid even with with the OLED pixel layout, this blows away any IPS I've ever owned with just a few tweaks to make it play with with PC. Gaming is amazing as you would expect in both SDR and HDR

The LG OLED smart tv is so much better than our old Samsung smart TV. The colors are vibrant and when there are night-time scenes in a show, you can actually see what's going on! The sound is incredible and I love the magic remote. With just one click, I can get to my favorite apps.

Great TV for the price, using for my main setup for my PC, Switch, and PS5 great color, great response time! 42 is about the largest I'd use as a desk monitor, and comparable monitors are at least 3-400 more at the current price and generally only include a usb hub at most. Love gaming on it!

Using this as a computer monitor like EVERYONE else. And man was i missing out from the C1 and C2. But I'm glad I waited this long for the C3. If you can get this tv when its on sale, its a beast. The regular price tag of 1399 is pretty crazy. But you get what you pay for. Comes with the typical smart tv apps. And switching between them is seamless. It does has this automatic screen off thing where it confuses me. Its on but the screen is off...i think its off and press the power button and it turns off. I can change this in the settings im sure, but im still trying to figure out all the features it has. One feature that blew me away was it having bluetooth. Thats a huge plus for me.

The TV is great! It was easy to install and the quality is great. The tv has an AI that help you personalize the quality of the image the way you like. The only complaint we have is with the remote is a little bit annoying but is okay.
