Crisp color, true black, looks great with apple tv 4k, ps5, pc, xbox series x/s and the 144hz in game mode is amazing for all types of gaming.

I purchased the LG C5 OLED 42 inch OLED TV to fit a small space. It has a great picture and I noticed the colors pop a little more than the Sony A90K 42 inch OLED TV that I also purchased. The Sony has more lifelike colors out of the box and has better motion tracking than the LG C5 model. I noticed motion blur on the LG C5 that is not present on the Sony A90K model when I played the same action movie on both models. If you are trying to decide between the 2 models, the LG C5 has more color pop and seems to be a bit brighter, but has less lifelike color and more motion blur than the Sony A90K model. The LG was $300 less in price so it depends on what's important to you.

With so many different televisions on the market, I did some research and this television was the perfect solution. I hooked up an ethernet cable and watched the magic happen. The picture quality is stunning and it comes loaded with my favorite streaming apps. I had no issues setting it up and now I'm enjoying a great viewing experience.

This is a great TV for the bedroom, The picture looks like you're looking through a window, the remote functions are easy (I purchased a different easier remote from LG), OLED quality is top notch, bright colors, details are incredible. The sound is actually fairly good for TV speakers. I highly recommend this TV.

This LG OLED TV has a beautiful picture and seems to be viewable from any angle! It fit perfectly in our cabinet which wouldn’t accommodate anything larger than a 42 inch TV. At first we thought the sound was a bit tinny but then was found there were multiple audio options and after changing to another option. Overall we are very happy with this purchase.

I bought this to use as my main monitor with my pc. Checks all the boxes. OLED is such a huge leap over typical ips monitors in terms of color and vibrancy. 4k capable of 120hz refresh rate. 42” is perfect in terms of display resolution for 4k. Purchased a dual monitor arm to mount this and my older 32” monitor. It was on sale for $800 when i bought it, but the price will keep dropping as this is last years model

Had it for month now and couldn't be more pleased with the tv. Black is really black and no blur in fast action movies. Color perfection Big difference between a a 500 dollar tv and 1000 dollar tv worth every penny Haven't used it as gaming monitor yet sure it will be great

The LG C5 OLED evo AI 4K UHD Smart webOS TV is a fabulous smart TV. Great features and built-in apps for easy, ready to go streaming. Great sound as well, even without a sound bar or enhanced speaker system. Very please with my purchase (and assistance from the store salesperson who helped be decide).

Despite being an open-box purchase, it checks all of the checkboxes. It has a good display, the size is just right for what we need, it's easy to use, and it plays multiple sources. It's an amazing find for me.

This TV is amazing. The 42-inch size is perfect for a setup, and the OLED picture is impressive. The blacks are unreal, and colors pop. Gaming on it is smooth. For the price, it's a great value.

Amazing tv overall, fits oled and truly live up to the expectations! Wonderful colors and amazing blacks, used for work as a monitor and occasional gaming and exceeding my expectations so far.

It’s incredible. Well worth the price. But the “magic” remote is anything but. Lacks a keypad & mute button. I think it’s supposed to mimic a computer mouse? However, I find it impossible to control the on screen cursor/pointerit. I don’t understand the inclusion of preprogrammed Netflix, Disney+, Prime & Sling buttons, but no mute of number keys? Maybe the if the numbers had corporate sponsors they would’ve been included?

This product is hard to use. The color is fine, but it has too many features, shows, and channels that I don’t need, which clutter the screen. The most important functions are difficult to find and use. For example, I can increase the volume with the “+” button on the remote, but lowering the volume doesn’t work. I have to go to the front of the unit to find a button, and pressing it slightly harder changes to another setting. The remote is also annoying because the cursor keeps moving on its own. This is very frustrating. The manual is not easily available and must be downloaded. While I understand technology is evolving, the design should also consider users who are not tech‑savvy, especially seniors. It will be good to have a simple mode such as one-click settings that hides unnecessary shows and channels. Fewer buttons with clear labels. clear volume control. stable remote, no moving cursor unless enabled. Easy access manual upon delivery in the box with step-by-step instruction.

We were looking for a TV that would provide the largest picture area within the 37" wide space in our entertainment center, and this TV fit the need perfectly with its minimal bezel frame and exact dimensions. Beyond this, the picture is spectacular with deep, full colors and sharp resolution. The sound is also very good and so it's doubtful we will have to purchase an additional sound bar to enhance the sound depth or add clarity to voices. All control of this smart t.v. is activated via the hand-held remote and so it takes a bit of practice to locate and understand all its features and functions. Its a small challenge that pays off with very high quality picture and sound. Setup of Netflix, Prime and HBO Max were very straighforward and I imagine other streaming services will be just as simple. I would not hesitate to recommend this t.v. - you'll enjoy it for years, and won't regret investing the extra money this model may cost over LCD or QLED competitors.

Great for gaming, perfect blacks and great input lag

We have a small room and needed a smaller size. There are many larger versions of this set and all look good. Watching HD content from a DISH receiver, the clarity of the actors faces, clothes, background is noticeably better than our old LCD set, It is possible to see pores on the faces of the actors. Not something I am used to. We have a sound bar and so do not use the internal speakers much so I can't really comment on those, but they do sound alright and may be good for general use. For movies or HD content, I think better audio will be desired. I am not a fan of the Google OS because I really only use it as a TV, and not browsing the net or for apps. This only adds an except extra step for me to watch TV. I.e. turn it on, then select "watch the HDMI input".

I already have the LG OLED 48" Smart TV. So when I needed to replace my Samsung 42" Smart TV i purchased the 42" LG OLED Smart TV. The color and picture in this model LG TV is absolutely incredible. The LG is easier to setup and navigate than the Samsung and really a better Smart TV. OLED's are a bit pricey but the picture quality and color make it worth every penny.
