Very good tv for the price. I calibrated the tv with the setting used for the uh6100 model on rtings.com and the picture looks much better

Bought this online for 300 and it arrived in two days. set up is extremely easy and connecting to Netflix was a piece of cake. I got a LG sound bar (sh3k) and the two of them are an amazing pair! I highly recommend this TV

    This is not 4K

With such a great price (I got this on Black Friday for $300) and great reviews, I decided to purchase this, unaware that this is an RGBW TV. That means that while the screen is considered 4K, every fourth sub-pixel is white, meaning the actual resolution of images on the screen is about 2.8K, while also causing darker images to look washed out. However, if I had not known about this, I would probably give this TV 4 stars. The screen is bright, colorful, smooth, and initially, the image was clear enough to trick me into believing it's 4K. Coming from a 4 year old 32" 720p Sylvania TV, I was blown away. Overall, I feel like I got a good deal, but LG really needs to make it clear what they're selling.

    Different than pictures. Unbelievable quality

First off, what they have in the picture isn't remotely what this looks like. It's black, and it's 2-3x thicker. Don't worry about that though. Notice these: - 4k resolution (3840x2160) If you don't know what that means, it has 4 pixels in the place of a single 1080p pixel. Also note that at 43", it has a pixel density of 109.68 PPI. That's much denser than a 24" 1080p computer monitor (91.79 ppi). - 120Hz refresh rate The typical benchmark is 60Hz. Everything moves more smoothly. It's hard to describe unless you're looking at it, but it looks really really good. If you're comparing this TV to the "old standard" HDTV (1080p @ 60Hz), it's 8 times better! 1920*1080*60 = 124,416,000 pixel updates per second. 3840*2160*120 = 995,328,000 pixel updates per second. Also it's an IPS panel so it has great viewing angles, don't underestimate that. I also like the LG WebOS and [as a software developer], I'm really picky about software. In summary, this TV is really good. It was on sale for $300 when I got it.

Absolutely love this, Has been using this since 7 years no issues as of now. Started to blue screen now days. But for hats off to LG TV that lasted for 7 years is not small thing. Now looking for LG C3 , Hope they had a trade-in for TV’s too.

    Confused, but Good

This TV does not look like the image shown anywhere online. It is not silver, its black. In fact if you look up the LG 43UH6100, that's what you're getting. It has a slightly less elegant design which really isn't what I was expecting.. Once you get past that the picture is great, can't complain. This is my first 4k TV and it's much better than my previous 1080p Samsung

This has been an excellent tv. I especially like the online apps although I really only use the Amazon Prime one. There are many others. The updates feature took a little getting use to but the reception on the wi-fi seems good. Nice remote w/the tv.

This is an excellent TV!!especially for the price. Remember also its not just the inches of the TV its the quality and the brand name which says it all! This has an excellent picture quality which I'm not complaining. And for the price you cannot beat for 299.00. I'm good with this TV.

Ok, at the time I bought this tv it was on sale for 299. It is much better than some of the reviews that are posted. It has a great picture and the bezel is not too big either. for a 4k, this was a steal. Even at the price it is now, it exceeds others at or around the same price value.

I bought this tv on the preblack Friday sale. The picture quality is incredible. Of course you have to set it up properly and get it calibrated. The Netflix 4k streaming is unreal. The way I use to watch golf when I saw 1080p for the first time is how I am looking at 4k cooking shows.

I wouldn't have bought this of I knew it was only 60hz refresh rate. I have am Xbox one s and it looks amazing on this tv. There is a noticeable difference between the standard x1 and hdr. The input lag is pretty bad with hdr, but if in 1080p on game mode it isn't to bad.

Black bezel, not silver as shown in the pictures. TV also isn't as thin as shown in pictures for those looking for a tv that will sit as flat as possible to the wall. Otherwise seems to be good picture quality.

This tv is legit, that is all im going to say because what i really want to say is some people are wrong on here about hdr it actually does have hdr but what people do not understand is that hdr will be extremally more sharper and produce more color on a sony as for samsung it is about the same as the lg unless you get the s series other than that this lg does have hdr for some reason bestbuy.com doesnt like to display this info for a lot of tvs on the website.

    Software updates

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

This is the first TV I have owned that is 'Smart' and WI-FI enabled . In the week I have had this TV there have been quite a few software updates made. Not sure of the nature of the software updates but it might be a good idea to enable Wi-Fi if only for the updates. There is also a port in the rear panel for a standard Network connection if you are not set up for Wi-Fi. Again, I am not sure of what is being updated software wise but generally it is probably a good idea to download the updates if at all possible.

Great TV but some color problems

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Love the TV, I use it for gaming, no input lag, but there was something I noticed the first day or two. The color Yellow always appears light green. I have messed around with a few of the picture settings, but haven't found a solution to this. If anybody knows please let me know. Also for the 299 price tag, it's worth your money.
