EXCELLENT TV!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from a 40" 1080p vizio to the 43" LG 4k uhd . The difference is amazing! Was pretty skeptical of getting a 4k tv under 55" but glad I did! Super easy to setup and use, great UI. Picks up wifi signal better than my ps4. Have had it for a almost 2 weeks and my GF and I love it! great TV for the price!

Great Entry Level 4K TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this on Black Friday for $300. Replaced an old 27" LCD in the bedroom, this looks so much better. This is actually my 2nd 4K TV, I also own a Samsung KS8500 as my main tv. Now it may not be as great as the KS8500, but if you're on a budget(or want a cheaper 4k tv) I highly recommend this tv.

Good not great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this tv because it was an upgrade with HDR to my current LG 4K. I was so excited to watch 4k movies on it, but 1 minute into my movie the display had a little scramble. I figured it would go away as I kept watching but no it didn't, just about every 30 seconds it would have a slight scramble. I finished the first movie disappointed with glitches so I figured it was that movie but the second movie it did the same thing. It got annoying so I boxed the tv back up and now gona exchange it for a different brand. Hopefully the next tv will be better. I never had any problems with LG till now, once I run into a problems with a brand of tv. I will never buy that brand again.

Two bad units in 2 weeks
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought one of these on Black Friday ( had it delivered ) great picture and worked great for 5 days . On the 6th day went to turn it and nothing , just black screen and a blinking power light. Brought it back to a local Best Buy , the Customer Service people were very helpful, however did not have a new unit in the store , so ordered me one for delivery. It arrived yesterday and I allowed it acclimate overnight because it arrived on a cold day. Plugged it in this morning and it turned on with a 1/2" white line from top to bottom accross the screen, another defective unit. So back to the store for a refund. Am I the only one to get a defective TV from LG ? All the reveiws I read on this TV and no-one reported these defects .... guess I'm just lucky!!!

Nice tv
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sale price was great for this TV, it's worth it just for the sound, I thought I was going deaf for the last ten years, with the sound on the old HD's. The picture is clear on a preset but could use an adjustment, to make it better. So far I'm happy with this buy.

More like a 3k tv LG's RGBW panel Beware
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you look up info on rgbw lg panels you will see what im talking about. To keep it simple tvs usually use a r(red) g(green) b(blue) pixel layout and this results in what you see on your screen. LG on the other hand uses rgbw the w being a white pixel added. now on a rgb panel you have 8,294,400 pixels that will light up between red, green and blue to give you array of colors and help provide details in your picture. But with this lg model and certain others you get roughly 6 million red, green and blue pixels and 2 million white pixels, that in my opinion do nothing to help picture quality in fact I think it severely degrades picture quality. So to me this in fact is more of a 3k tv and I couldn't in good conscience call this a 4k tv. Also do your research into 10 bit vs 8 bit panels when looking for hdr some tvs call themselves hdr but that means they can simply accept the signal and you wont get a full wide color gamut. Also I purchased the 49 inch version which is why I'm posting my review here. The 49 inch version is no longer available and was for black friday only.

Just ok
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv is good for what it costs but I wasn't impressed enough with it. After watching some 4k Netflix and other 4k sources it is really lacking quality compared to other tvs I've seen. For the price its a good tv if you are upgrading from something older but it wasn't much better if any than my 2 year old 1080p vizio just my opinion.
