The tv was too dark for me. I wanted it to be lighter.

This TV is so great with a crisp picture, awesome sound and so many options with the Smart TV. With some many bells and whistles, I was worried about the learning curve since I'm not very "techie" but it's so easy to set up and use! I'm thinking of buying another one in a larger size for another room.

I purchased this TV just recently and I love it! So far it has a beautiful display and amazing sound quality. There are a few negatives with the TV, but the positives outweigh them by a lot. So I bought this TV because it was the best purchase around the $500 price range that I wanted. Of course I had to pay extra for the new HDMI cord and tax, but that was all worth it in order to run 4k quality (mainly upscaled). The best thing about upgrading to 4k TVs is that you get a much better brightness and contrast upgrade. For my TV, the more vivid colors are much more clear and it makes objects seem more realistic when you look at them. I've been watching the TV show, Lost, lately and the quality looks much better on a 4k TV. The negatives: for one thing, this TV has a remote that doesn't light up at night. I know it sounds a little silly that I would complain about this, but mark my words, in the middle of the night there is no seeing the buttons on the remote. I usually wait till a bright scene on my Netflix TV show comes on and then look at the remote, but that gets annoying after awhile. Other complaints I have and hope to find a solution is the brightness issue with the color yellow and gold, and also the fact that WebOS doesn't have Spotify. For some reason the color yellow or gold doest not come up very well at all, so be wary that if you play games on this TV that the color yellow/gold will not come up clearly. I play Overwatch and I have seen that the Gold Medal that you can earn at the end of a match tends to look a little more orange than gold. It's a very bizarre glitch maybe, but be aware of that. And the Spotify issue is the thing that annoys me most. Why the heck doesn't WebOS have Spotify? I don't know, but I hope it gets fixed soon. Overall this TV is fantastic and if you want to game on it then you'll be absolutely stunned. I play Overwatch and The Witcher 3 a lot and both games blow my mind away! I hope you enjoy this TV as much as me, and I will definitely give it a new review later on in case any problems occur. I just hope the TV has a long lifetime. I hope this helped!

I switched from a a fifteen year old TV to a LG-43UH6100. The new TV is an amazing improvement. The deliverymen hooked it up expertly and quickly and explained the remote and features. The store staff discussed my TV needs during my several store visits and made me feel like a respected and valued customer, esp. Eric.

The tv worked great when first installed. After 16 days it failed. Just shut down while in use and would not come back on. Geek squad has come out an investigated and has two parts on order. They will try to fix it when parts arrive. Lots of inconvenience and lost time.

This TV is just amazing. I've watched my brother play Tom Clancy's The Division on Xbox 1 on my Sony 1080p TV for quite some time. This thing is super nice and I research very many things when picking one, so it was among the best. Let's just say there are colors, and objects in the game that were not even visible on a 1080p TV. There were shadows and fog, as well as footprints that were not visible on the Sony either. For those who say 4k will not improve the way games look, they're fooling themselves. Forza 6 looks unreal as well (Probably the best graphics I've ever seen). More Pixels is more pixels, there is really no other way to put it. The TV itself is very 'smart' with all of the latest apps you'd expect it to have. If you are considering this TV don't even hesitate. I read reviews to buy this; so I'm giving back by writing a review myself. The video games looking that much better was something unexpected completely, as I thought just because the Xbox puts out 1080 it can only look '1080p' good. I was wrong, the 4k does allow for a games full graphical potential. Awesome product.

I went to the store looking for a computer monitor and I endep buying this awesome TV. Not that is only good as my computer monitor I also use all the great features of the smart TV including Amazon< Netflix etc. Its a great TV for the price. I usually buy Sony brand for TVs but I took a risk with LG and I have to admit that I wont be necessary purchasing only Sony's tv from now on.

Picture quality is not there. Side by side, my old Vizio 43M blew it away. Took it back and got a Sony.

the geek service was the best. every wires hidden,all dvd,cable,roku ect were all cordinated. and he was well dressed and polite

I use this for my windows and mac laptops and I am very pleased. I used the setting on rtings.com to calibrate the tv and not it is much easier on the eyes. The tv has a good navigation system especially compared to other tv brands. I am able to get 60hz in windows 10 but not 4k because my laptop is old. On my macbook pro I am getting 4k at 30hz and I ordered a cable which with a little work should get me 60hz at 4k on the mac, according to the internet. Im much happier with this than I would have been with a projector or computer monitor.

I bought this to use as a computer monitor. It's replacing a 24 inch LG 1080P that is about 5 years old. No more wearing glasses for me! My eyes are not burning anymore because I'm not squinting. If you're over 40 and your eyes aren't what they used to be, this rig is the way to go and it's cheaper than eye exams and glasses. I've already used the built in NETFLIX and it's beautiful just in 1080! Everything so far has been ultra easy to set up and I'm LOVING this screen! Whatever you do, just buy it!

This is my first HD TV and I am impressed with the level of detail on offer compared to my old analog TV. The movies on the cable channels look better than the blu ray movies that I watched on my 720p projector. This set exceeded my expectations with clarity of picture and color saturation. The other features such as high dynamic range are icing on the cake. Buy with confidence. Highly recommended.

Stunning picture. All the features you would expect from an LG. Setup went so smooth and had no issues connecting to my cable box via HDMI. I think Web OS is OK and seems to run nicely - not hard to navigate and comes up quickly. I've seen others that take 20-30 seconds to load the OS but this does it in 5 or less. I have a LOT of LG equipment and am just as happy with this as I am with the rest!

I originally had a Westinghouse 4k tv, but the refresh rate was atrocious and we experienced tremendous input lag. This television is a gift sent from the gods for the Xbox One S. The HDR is fantastic, and the 4k quality is great. In order to access these full benefits, you will have to activate the HDR for the input, and select the setting in the Xbox sound and display settings that say "recommended". This wil give you access to the full glory.

I really look forward to looking at tv now great job lg I'm still learning about the 4k tv I just purchased this 4k may 2 2016 looks great kids movie excellent I'm 42 and I love them as well lol, great price worth the money, wifi great speed great 4k Netflix great.

I like the way images look on this TV but we have problems using streaming service on this TV. Netflix will get scrambled while we're in the middle of watching something and Hulu will endlessly load but never actually start. The other issue I have is that my Panasonic sound bar works and then out of no where the sound cuts out for 10-20 seconds. My sound bar never had issues with my previous TV. HDMI and Optic cable worked with previous TV for use with my sound bar.

This is a great TV. Much better choice than Vizio, Sharp or store brands. I think the 4K Sony and Samsung TVs are great choices as well, but Samsung does not offer a 43" UHD and 48" is too large for my bedroom. Sony has a 43", but I do not think the picture is any better and it costs $200 more. LG is a solid brand and this is a solid TV!

I was in the market for a monitor for my computer. I came across this 4k TV and I'm very impress with the purchase. If you want 4k at 60 fps make sure you have a gpu that has a hdmi 2.0 because you will get only 30 fps. Just make sure you do some research because the manual for the TV is not so great.
