Good value TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a solid tv for the price. I wouldn’t make this my first choice but for the value it’s worth it.

You have to unplug it 2, or 3 times a week.
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The only problem i have with this tv is that a couple times a week i have to unplug it. 2, or 3 times a week when i try to open YouTube TV it just spins, and i have to unplug it, and plug it back in. Then it works fine. The Vizio i have in my living room doesn't have that problem. Otherwise i like the tv.

Great while it lasted.
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Seemed to be a great TV... until it wasn't (just long enough to be out of warranty). I like the LG brand, and have far more issues with Vizio and the likes, so I won't let this detract from my overall favorite brand TV. Seems to be the same issue others have had, turns on to only a backlight & no picture or sound, so obviously a poor batch/model.

Panel failed in less than a month
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We’ve had this tv for less than a month and the panel failed. Thank goodness we purchased the geek squad protection plan. Assuming that they will fix it in 2 weeks. We really don’t like the legs on the TV. Seems like a real tipping hazard. Prior to the failure, the picture was clear and the sound was nice.

Lg TV Problems
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not Happy at all purchased the LG 43" UHD TV as soon as it was set up it would shut off for 2 or 3 seconds then come back on, returned it for an exchange and the same thing with 2nd TV, finally returned the LG bought a Samsung and have had no problems. I also read online that this is a common issue with Lg's

Nothing but problems
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV just a little over three months ago and just submitted my 3rd service request. When I submitted the first one it was taken care of within a few days. On the second one no one ever contacted me to service the unit. We'll see what happens with the third request. I have had issues with the unit powering off by itself and the volume control not working. And now I have vertical bars that flicker, making the tv unwatchable. The LG chat agent tells me that they do not replace units, they only repair them. So I'm wondering if I'll end up going through this once a month and now they'll handle it once the warranty is up.

Rooked by 2 name brands
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased LG 43 Inch 11/23/2019 been wall mounted since. Today turn the TV on to watch the news the screen gets bright so I exited out of the app. Shut down the TV and turned it back on black screen but when I selected TV I had sound. Call Best Buy they want nothing to do with it because past the return window and I wasn't a sheep for the overpriced geek squad protection. Call LG and first thing they state is if the TV is broken in any way I will have to pay for the repair outside of manufacturer defect. This after I explained exactly what happened with the TV no one hit it LOL. Buyer beware not a good brand and they really don't stand behind the product. Back to Walmart cheaper TV's but things don't break.

Too good to be true.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV was in my home for less than 24 hours. The tv’s user interface(menus) are terrible... they are difficult and confusing. I took it back and picked up a 50” Sharp with Roku and it was only $30 more. If you absolutely can spare a bit more money then it’s an okay buy. Also the internet is super slow for smart features.

Good Picture When You Can Get Reception
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Can't get all the stations from digital antenna I was able to get on old TV. Seem to spend lots of time updating the TV OS, Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. Have DVD player connected to an HDMI port. Turned the DVD player on to play a CD and the TV turns on by itself to the antenna connection. Not such a "smart" TV in my book.

Posted .Simplink allows devices connected to your TV through HDMI ports to communicate back and forth with your TV. The devices can have some control over the TV, and the TV can have some control over the devices. This means you could control your DVD player through your TV remote, for example. Which is what caused your TV to turn on when you powered on your DVD Player. If you're in need of some guidance with using your TV, please head to our support page at @LGUSSupport on Twitter or shoot us a private message on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/LGUSA/ so a specialist can help out. ^CP
