I love this tv. It was easy to set up and I have had zero issues with it. It definitely lives up to the LG quality reputation.

Great little TV but keeps disconnecting from WIFI

We bought this tv for our kids playroom. They didn’t need anything huge or expensive and this tv had everything we needed for them to watch Disney+ on it and Hulu. We set it up and love the picture and the sound quality. We love everything about it, except every morning when we turn it on, I have to resign into the WiFi. It’s pretty annoying having to take the extra 5 minutes every morning (which isn’t my slow time) just to get the tv to work. Because of this, we aren’t sure if we’ll be keeping the tv. We’ve only had it about 4 days, but my patience is already wearing thin.

I love this tv! I’ve always purchased Hisense, but wanted to give Lg a try & im very impressed. My only issue is the remote sometimes doesn’t want to work! It’s frustrating.

    Decent picture, terrible motion!!

I will start by saying this is my office TV, so it is often on, but I am not actively watching it. I bought the TV as a Black Friday deal...it was under $250 so I wasn't expecting anything like my Bravia in the family room. Initially I was VERY pleased with the picture quality. It is very clear and the colors are very good (slight tweaking may be required). What is prompting this review is very simply how well the TV handles motion. It has bad judder issues...going to extreme depending on the content. It is bothersome when watching sports/fast live action. Where it is unbearable is HD animation. Watching characters speak and their mouths become Picasso esc boxes. Watching characters walk in front of stationary features causes severe distortions and what I can only describe as delayed edges. I have spent hours trying to fix the issues with little luck. End of story, it is an inexpensive TV so I really shouldn't be too surprised...however...I would have thought a lot more of the LG brand...that is really what was tarnished with this purchase. As a side note, I bought an LG 4K disc player a couple weeks after the TV and that player has already been sent into the repair shop for video issues. So not a lot of positive things to say about LG at the moment.

Nothing exceptional, tv speakers on it are good enough, although get really muddled quickly once turned up too loud. Connectovity is good, but Airplay functioanlity can be annoying to deal with, to where I just ended up getting an Apple TV 4k instead of trying to rely on it.

I bought two of these for my office, mostly for the homekit features, and I'm still torn on the value. Pros: -Cheap -Free LG TV channels with a lot of content -Included Apple TV app with latest firmware -Airplay compatible Cons: -CONSTANTLY (at least 10 times a day) loses Wifi connection and requires you to re-enter the password if you want to manually connect ***- Homekit is broken- the set will not wake from the homekit app either via automations or with a manual on. This is an LG implementation issue. Do not believe anything that LG says otherwise. You can test this for yourself because the TV will wake when you send an airplay signal, and the TV will also wake using LG's remote control app. Only the homekit feature is broken, and the latest firmware has not corrected this. This is true for both TV's I purchased and I followed the LG technical support to remove the devices and reinstall them in homekit. They will show up if you turn them on with the remote or their app, but once you turn them off (which you can do with homekit or Siri) they will not turn back on unless you use the remote, their remote app or airplay something while connected to the app. In sum, it has decent features for the money, but I wish I had bought another manufacture's homekit TV.

Sucks - wobbly legs cause it to TIP over

Great tv except the legs have been wobbly from day ONE. The wobbly legs have now cost me a tv. Cat barely touched the tv & it fell forward off my dresser cracking the screen. Tv is good EXCEPT for this. Bought in 2020 & worked fine until its wobbly legs failed under the pressure of a kitten’s paws to its screen. Should NOT be that easy to tip over. Now I have to buy whole other tv. No longer avilable so now i have to buy a more expensive tv but wouldnt buy this again anyway since it was so unstable to begin with. LG legs are NOT reliable. Will be getting a Samsung like I have downstairs.

disappointed, (HDMI) port never worked correctly, always stopping while watching movies & The OS really didn't make much help either, (would shut down). quad never found any defect. Don't get me wrong the color, graffics all great, but if it shuts down or stops every 6 mins. Stick with the basics.

When this tv works, it’s great. However, the apps crash or fail to load regularly. I can load the streaming services on all other devices in my house, but the tv doesn’t seem to play nice with anything other than Netflix.

Terrible warranty - do not buy

This looks like a great deal, it is not. Do not buy! We have had this for months and cannot get it to work properly. It continually looses internet connection or stops a show and goes back to the Home Screen. I’ve used it with wow 100mb/s, then upgraded to my own router, then I got att fiber 1000 mb/s with there router and again with my better router, nothing helps. We had a repairman out for a warranty repair. He said it doesn’t have a very good capability to connect to a wifi network. That’s why the Roku works, but the smart-tv does not. He said there was nothing that could be done about the tv to make it better, then charged me because the tv cannot be improved. It couldn’t be made better. My other TVs have no problem, Roku and Apple TV work when connected to this tv. It cannot beam form or grab a stable connection. Others do it better. If you buy this tv know that it needs another device for a stable internet connection. What’s the point of a smart tv if you have to bypass the functionality because it cannot beam form or grab a stable connection. Other than that it is an ok tv. It is more difficult to use with a Roku than a regular tv. All the “smart” functionality gets in the way. Dumb TVs are easier to use with Roku, Apple TV, etc. They are made to connect more easily on the remote. Get a better smart tv or a dumb tv.
