    I purchased this TV in November 2019 to upgrade from an old Sony LCD HDTV from 2009 in my bedroom. Yes, I waited a long time but I did not want to get rid of something so faithful that still worked. Now in February 2020 I am regretting what I did. Here's why. This LG TV worked great and had all the modern features I wanted: internet connectivity, apps, a built in TV guide for my antenna connection, and one extra HDMI port compared to the standard two that I had previously. Everything was fairly easy to setup and adjust to my liking, which I appreciate. However, after a few months of light to moderate use, my screen is exhibiting image rention/ghosting issues. I enjoy watching a particular news channel that has a static logo in the top left corner, and noticed now that the logo has started to ghost in the same location. I can make it go away after watching something else for roughly 30 minutes or so, but when I come back to that news channel days later, the retention/ghosting comes back even after watching the channel for less than 15-20 minutes. This is incredibly frustrating and not what a modern TV should be doing. I don't believe my old LCD TV of 10 years ever did that at all, and am regrettably missing my old reliable television. I contacted LG support to see what can be done, but beware that your TV might exhibit the same symptoms over time!
