The Wi-Fi on this TV will not work if you try to connect to a hidden wi-fi broadcast that is 5Ghz. Will work fine if its a hidden 2.4Ghz broadcast connection; but not 5Ghz. After doing a hard reset on the TV (unplugging power cable from the wall and holding down the power button for 10 seconds) connecting to my 5Ghz hidden broadcast worked for about two days only. After that it would not work no matter how many times i did a hard reset or factory reset. If you want to keep your SID hidden and connect this TV to a 5Ghz connection, the only work around is to create a 5Ghz guest network and enabled the SID broadcast on your wireless router. Or you can simply not hide your SID. This is probably not a big deal for most people; but if you try to bookmark a web page using the TVs web browser, this is exactly the message that you will get “You can add your bookmark to the TVs Home Screen and access your favorite website by pressing the icon. Do you want to the bookmark to Home? (You can ad up to 5 bookmarks to Home.)”…………first time i ever see such grammar error on any TV brand. On a more positive note, the LG app is amazing WHEN it works and being able to control the TV with my iPhone from all aspects is pretty cool. If it wasn’t for the cool app and having a work-around the 5Ghz connection, i would return this product in a heart beat.
