    I was upgrading from a 32 inch Samsung and went with this one because the price was $150 less than the equivalent Samsung. I was not very happy with the picture quality. The overall picture is much darker than what I am used to with the Samsung. But the sound was absolutely horrible! It sounded very boomy, almost like underwater. I went ahead and paid the extra money and upgraded to a Samsung and I am extremely happy!

    I bought this for a bedroom, mainly for watching TV shows, not movies or DVDs. I might as well have bought a model with a smaller screen because the 4:3 aspect ratio of TV programming leaves the image narrower than the screen unless one uses one of the zoom features, which crops the original image. The picture quality is decent, but our main TV is a 55-in. LG OLED which has a really superior picture.
