Customers are saying
Customers are positive about the picture quality, ease of setup, price, and size of the 43" Class - LED - UJ6300 Series - 2160p - Smart - 4K UHD TV with HDR. They appreciate the good picture quality, easy setup process, affordability, and suitable size for various placements. However, customers are negative about the brightness, remote control, sound, durability, and stand. They find the brightness lacking compared to Samsung TVs, the remote control unintuitive, the sound quality subpar, the TV prone to damage, and the stand flimsy.

ROKU software is underwhelming, getting slower
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was ok for the price. Initially. The ROKU software that runs the TV settings is pretty underwhelming and not user friendly at all. The remote is sparse. Thats ok I guess, but its range is pretty bad. I have to hold it up in the air and point it atraight at dead center of the TV in order to adjust volume -- even then, it is frequently unresponsive. The ROKU media broswer UI is terrible and doesn't support very many file types, features that i use a lot but this is a bedroom TV so, "eh". After the first month I would have probably given this 2 or 3 stars. However, fast forward to 3 months of ownership and the TV has gotten slower and slower; its so slow now, I find myself avoiding using it simply because I know it will make me angry. This makes all of the other "nuisance" issues above no longer tolerable. If i could return it, I would

TV set did not function after a year. It just did
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The item itself work fine for a year or so. After this 12-month period, it did not responded when I used the remote control (brand new batteries) as well as press on the power button and no response. Poor quality item.

Picture quality not what I expected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We returned and exchanged for a Samsung model. I bought the LG because reviews were ok and it was a great price. But it actually did not have picture quality of 7 year old Protron and nowhere near the quality of 3 year old 55 inch Samsung we have in another room.

Buyer beware
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having read the reviews, I still went ahead and purchased this LG. I have an LG 4K set that I love. Well, this one needs brightness adjustments virtually any time room light varies and sound quality is not great. Will be returning this tv. Disappointed.

Picture quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The TV was delivered and you would expect the picture to be very good out of the box. Picture was dark and couldn't get the picture to brighten up. LG has always been good but was disappointed with this one. Returned for a different TV.

Not durable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.tv WAS working good. within 2 years, it started showing purple patches, searched on LG-community, too many LG tvs have these problem. and it is hardware issue and as expected LG had not replied to any of comments on questions on LG Community. Please be aware of this fact. If you are buying LG smart tvs, they will probably be good only for a year and half. If someone wants tv just for this period go for insignia/ vizio, they are cheaper, same quality and better in durability.

Awesome TV, BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't let the price tag fool you, this is an awesome tv. Picture is great, WebOS 3.5 is fast and simple, sound is great, features are great! I bought the 43in Sony X800E which is a couple hundred dollars more expensive than this and hated it. The UI was very sluggish and it felt like a hassle just to do something simple - bad experience. This TV on the other hand is so much better (and cheaper!). The TV has a 10-bit panel (I have asked LG support multiple times - Best Buy claims it isn't), so it supports HDR10 (Video Games, 4K Bluray, video on demand) and HLG (broadcast) formats of HDR. HDR is automatic and it notifies you when HDR content is playing (something that the Sony and many other (if not all other) TVs don't)). Overall, I highly recommend this TV. If I had something negative to say, it would be about the design. By no means is it horrible or ugly, but it isn't as flashy and minimal as some of the other TVs. Side note: If you are interested in purchasing this for gaming (PS4 Pro, Xbox One X, etc.), it is fantastic. According to RTINGS.com, it has an input lag of 12ms in 4K HDR 60fps Mode. It may even a bit lower for non-HDR 4K and 1080p gaming. And be sure to enable game mode, it is available for both regular and HDR gaming.

What directions????
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The directions were horrible... brief... and the "onscreen" directions were fine, unless there was a problem...Can't get wifi, need the cord, can't get the extra stations. There's no code to connect the wifi, and it didn't take the router code. No directions to problem solve. And, in the process of setting the tv up, wiped out the 3 laptop wifi connections and wouldn't take the code that it was initially set with. Got 2 laptops back, one still won't take the code. No place for problem solving, no directions other than "plug this into that" and then follow the directions on the screen.
