    Horrible Dark Screens & Extremely Flimsy Legs !

    Wanted to love this TV. My first 4K. Supposed to have EXCELLENT picture quality? Picture quality is worse than my old non 4K/720 tv. Biggest problem is when the show is a dark place (i.e. alley's dark rooms ... etc). LG TV coloring almost makes screen black. Can't see anything. Yes, it could be a particular show or movie, but it can't possibly be all of them! Initially I played with all the available color/screen variables. Didn't help. Called LG, and gentlemen sent an update to my TV. Then suggested I change settings to settings that I had already changed to. Initially I thought I saw a slight difference, but it must have been wishful thinking. No visible difference!. What can I say about the so called legs!! Like putting an elephant on a toothpick bridge. Just waiting for it to crash. Sadly, I've had LG products before, and loved them! Can't say that about this sub-par TV.

    Screen may break at random

    I bought this TV one year ago as a bedroom TV which was barely used and recently the screen broke at random. I had the TV unplugged for several days and when I was about to mount it to the wall I realized the screen had dots in descending order of size on the bottom left portion of the screen. So I plugged it in hoping for the best to see the worst broken screen I have ever seen. The was so moved for days and I am still puzzled about how this happened. Basically, this TV may not last as long as one would hope.

    I have owned this TV for 5 years and the picture suddenly started shadowing and shaking lines. :-( First time I have EVER owned a TV that has gone bad so quickly

    LG 4k tv has a dark picture with terrible color.

    This is the first time I have reviewed anything. My husband bought this tv so we would have a good picture. What a mistake. The picture is very dark and the color is terrible. We have tried every setting. One scene is good and the next one awful. The eye strain is bad. We have had several people who are great with electronics, work with the picture to no avail. The audio comes in an out. We did not buy any other electronics to work in conjunction with this tv, so I must conclude it is the tv. Do not buy this item if you want a clear picture with good color.

    WebOS doesn't have Chinese keyboard?

    Ok TV for its price.. What I'm surprised is the WebOS doesn't have a Chinese keyboard, which limits my usage severely and it's so inconvenient. It's hard imagine a TV supports quite a few languages but not Chinese, which is the language used by the largest population in this world. P.S. No Japanese keyboard either.

    Disappointed

    Was looking forward to enjoying this TV. Tried to put on stands, and they don't stay in...poor/cheap quality. Can't place on chest I bought because stands aren't stable, and because they are not positioned in the center it won"t fit on the chest. LG needs to consider having better quality stands that are more in the center. Don't like mounting on wall in case I want to relocate TV. Unfortunately, I'm Going to have to return it.

    Poor leg stand design caused TV to break

    The TV was good for the price, the sound and color would have received a high rating. However, the legs just click into place, there aren't any screws to secure them to the stand. With the slightest bump to the table, the TV fell over and broke.

    Problems with HDMI ports

    Okay picture quality, but about a month after buying this tv one of the hdmi ports went out. It would recognize that a device was plugged in, but it would say "no signal" At first I only had problems with it occasionally, but after another month it became more and more frequent. I contacted LG customer service and they sent out a technician who replaced the panel. A month later and I'm having problems again. This time with all three hdmi ports. None of the hdmi ports work consistently. Last week port 3 was out, a few days ago port 2 was out, and today both ports 1 and 2 are out. I bought this tv specifically because it had three hdmi ports and I didn't want to be constantly shuffling cords around. Terrible product. Extremely unhappy with this purchase

    there wasn't a user manual very difficult getting the settings right got couldn't figure out on how to use the apps that I never did find

    HDMI Port Will not Work

    I bought this because it was on sale for the week of black Friday. Within a few weeks the back hdmi port stopped working. Tried multiple devices nothing. Returned it for a new one and after a few days same problem.

    Poor experience

    I’ve had countless issues w this TV. Sound will randomly disappear & only solution is turning device off and on again. HDMI inputs will randomly get disconnected from their devices as well. Not to mention slow load times and buffering. Remote sucks too, had to get a new one.

    HDMI 1 went bad in exactly 2 weeks

    Bought this to upgrade. HDMI port went bad in 2 weeks. Wife was playing Switch, then took a break. 20 minutes later, the HDMI port doesn't work. Swapped cables, swapped gaming systems around between HDMI 1 and 2. HDMI 2 still works, 1 does not. Going back tomorrow.

    Hdmi port failed on 2 of this model tv (43 & 50in)

    Within a month of use the hdmi 1 port failed on this tv on both the 50 inch version in my living room and the 43 inch in my bedroom. There is a huge problem with quality control on Lg's part. We just had our soundbar fail on us too (also LG). I'm fed up with this company.

    Very disappointing

    Took it back next day, couldn't get a decent picture. Exchanged it for the Samsung 7100. Night and day difference for the extra $100. The Samsung is great.

    Not Stable

    Why LG I dont know were the plastic legs an after thought or what. My son purchased this for me as an early Christmas gift. I have an armour and was setting it up and the TV is just so unstable moving back and forth with the slightest touch. I wasn't comfortable leaving it there so unfortunately I have to return it. LG don't do that again yhea most people do put it on the wall but there may always be an exception. Poor quality stands they dont even snap in no nothing. Samsung it is...

    Limited apps and poor browser

    I bought this tv purely to watch programming through apps. Netflix, HBONOW, and Amazon Prime. Come to find out, LG does not support HBONOW as an app. Tried to have a workaround and use the browser only to hit another stumbling block, the LG browser will not play flash. Really not satisfied with the technology in this TV
