Originally got the Samsung with the same specs beacuse it had the Xfinity app but returned it and got this one. This does NOT have the xfinity app but works 10x better. Picture is perfect and sound is great. Love it. Sticking with all LG tv's from now. The streaming really is seemless. No lag at all!

We used it to replace a tv already hanging in our bedroom. It is fabulous! The sound is great, much better than the unit I replaced and I love the NETFLIX and AMAZON buttons on the remote. Makes watching these easy for us old folks who need to minimize the steps needed. I highly recommend.

Kind of Disappointing

The color isn't as vibrant as I expected, and the picture settings when changed didn't seem to have much effect on the picture. I bought this for my elderly mother, and she was happy with it because she doesn't really care about such things. She just wants to watch her TV shows. Anyway, the picture is nice and bright when sitting directly in front of the screen, but dims quite a bit when sitting at an angle. The sound is good, and can be turned up nice and loud for the hard of hearing (like my mother). If I had bought this for myself, I would have exchanged it for something with a more adjustable picture. Part of the problem is that I broke my own self-imposed rule...never buy a TV without seeing the exact model turned on in the store.
